3.8 stars let me explain why. Wow it’s been 8 years since my last visit here and definitely time for an update. I stopped by for a late lunch date and stepped inside to a furnace. It was so hot inside we almost walked out before ordering. While there were a few fans going it was pretty miserable inside. Not sure if their air is broken or they’re trying to lower costs, but man alive fix that. We decided to stay and order a few things that we could take to go a well as eat real fast if necessary. I opted for a fish taco since it was Friday and they are 1.99 on Friday’s. I also ordered a grilled shrimp taco off their gourmet side which just means they’re normal size not the street taco version. We also ordered rolled tacos and a carne asada burrito and two fountain drinks. We sat down to wait. We went to the fountain drink machine and more than half the drink options said out of order. We found something to drink and waited. Everything came out pretty quick as we were the only ones inside. My tacos were so dang good! My husband enjoyed his food and said the guacamole and such was great. The salsa was super good and the green sauce had a great kick to it. The employee also gave us some chips to snack on. Service was great. Very friendly and efficient. I’d say if it was not so dang hot inside to where it was almost unbearable I’d leave a higher review. I’m on the fence here and I’d say about 3.8 or so. The food and service saved it from a lesser rating for me.

Atmosphere is 5/5, all subjective for this type of restaurant, won’t let that hurt the rating in this case.
Food and service are outstanding. I did four tacos: fish, shrimp, carbs asada and pastor.
Dined in, was served with some nice home made chips. Only two salsa choices but they had the right amount of heat for me.
The fish taco was amazingly breaded and fresh inside. The shrimp was plenty, and the other tacos were delicious as well. I took the birria two taco combo for lunch the next day. Which was also good. Pieces are great for the amount of taco you get.

Great atmosphere and fantastic service. The food was made fresh to order. Again, great customer service. The food, though fresh was all right. The shrimp, chicken and asada were all seasoned very well. The beans and rice were a little bland. The kids meal was a good size and the fries were wonderfully crispy. The red salsa was too close to tomato soup in my opinion. The green salsa was pretty good. Overall, not a bad spot.

Great customer service, plain interior. Ordered the Taco de Papa which was really good, potatoes were awesome and the shell was crispy, huge taco. Also ordered Ground Beef Taco, was also really good. Birria Mulita was also good, though it was very messy and fell apart, consome was really good. Chips were fresh and crisp and salsas were good. Will be back for the Tacos de Papa.

I stopped in there today I bought a gourmet Carne Asada taco, a small shrimp cocktail and a side order of chips and guac. My total came to just over $18. The quality of the meat for the Carne Asada was pretty good. They were generous with the guacamole. The meat was very tender, but I felt I needed to add a little bit of salt. Now the shrimp cocktail, I know they’re not really a Mariscos place, having said that, there was a lot of catchup in that, it was pretty sweet not that many shrimp and they were small, not cut, just small shrimp. I dug out the shrimp and ate it with the avocado and a few tomatoes. I posted a picture of what was left. Just a big huge bowl of chopped up tomatoes, cucumber, and ketchup. It definitely was not worth anywhere near what I paid for it. I would get a taco again, but I would not get a shrimp cocktail. The chips were not fresh. They weren’t great, but they were good. If I was hungry and in in the area, I would stop by again if I wanted Carne Asada, but I wouldn’t go out of my way.

Adobada taco plate! Customer service was great. The place is clean. Very delicious and plenty of options. The green and red salsa were good. Usually, one would like only one or the other, but both were very good.

I ordered a trio of tacos (carne asada, adobada, coconut shrimp). The texture and flavor were on point. My husband had a chicken burrito, which was grilled on the outside to give it some extra “oomph.” 10/10 would eat here again when we’re back in town.

Wanted a quick meal and stopped in at this small restaurant close to Sprouts. Glad we did. You order at the counter and each meal is freshly prepared. It is fun to watch your food being prepared. The carne asada tacos were plump with meat with a little garnish. Delicious. The tostada was heaped high with meat avocado and cheese. Again, delicious. The carne asada burro was well packed with meat and no rice filler. Asked for the condiments on the side. Every dish was fresh tasted great. Glad we found this little restaurant, will be back soon.

Nice place to get some good tacos locally. Flavors are good and authentic. Prices are a bit steep for the smaller portions and wish they would add a good salsa bar. Will still come back.
