What a hidden gem! We unexpectedly stopped here for breakfast and everything was amazing. The barbacoa was delicious, the handmade flour tortillas were fresh and flavorful, and the portions were very generous. Great food and a great start to the day!

My boyfriend and I were craving some Mexican food and stumbled across Casa de Leon. The food was good! I ordered the flautas, and they were not greasy at all. It had a good amount of protein. The portions were HUGE. We ordered 2 entrees, a chili queso, and a side of nopales and the total was under $30 without tip. We will def be visiting again!

Solid spot to kill some time if you’re hungry and you are getting your car serviced next door at discount tire. Prices are on point. Service is great. Food was ok.

Stopped in with a buddy for a couple of Micheladas with Pacifico, and they really hit the spot easily a 9/10! They reminded me of the ones from Connie’s or Mambo’s Seafood, which is saying a lot. The chips and green salsa came out fresh, flavorful, and with just the right kick of spice.

I tried a couple of tacos the Barbacoa was solid (8/10) while the beef was more average (6/10). Still, the overall food quality and flavor made it worth it. Service was excellent attentive, quick, and genuinely friendly. The spot has a true taqueria vibe with mostly local Latino customers, which adds to the authentic feel.

Great place for a casual bite, affordable prices, and especially tasty Micheladas. I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area.

Came here to eat while Discount Tires worked on my car.
Well, what can I say. if you like cheap meals this is your place. The best thing they have overall and better than a lot of Mexican places is their salsa and chips. The food is basic cheap and thrown together. No love just business.

This a great experience, the staff welcome you since you open the door, make you feel pleasant to enjoy your food, my priority review is customer service because if they make you feel this way you will come back again! Food amazing I got full!!! And this is how you eat at my home town, I am actually coming from Conroe Tx and is worth it the trip! Thank you to my server I forgot to ask him his name but very attentive and amazing service

The caldo de rez was simply delicious. Serving portions were more than enough, in fact, had to take some home. Prices very reasonable and service was excellent. The diner is not fancy but just down right cozy. Adequate parking in front of restaurant.

Still fire as ever! Great food, friendly owner and fast service. The salsas are super spicy just how I like it and everything is always fresh!! I really enjoyed my milanesa! I have been going here since the 90s and it’s still very affordable for a family to eat here which is one of the best things! You won’t be disappointed if you like real Mexican food here.

I really don’t like the tomato “gravy” they use. It taste Italian to me? Also, the lengua was dry. The employees are always super nice though!

Excellent food and good prices. Don’t come looking for typical Tex Mex here. The enchiladas are made with a tomato based sauce- not brown chile gravy. The rice is some of the best I’ve had. The beans were pretty average. I also ordered queso flameado which was excellent. Happy that they also stay open late. Good neighborhood spot.
