We split the difference on breakfast and lunch, which was a great experience. The best of breakfast tacos for my husband who had carne guisada and the “Bobcat”. The baby enjoyed her mouse eared pancake with bacon and egg. I had the beef burrito plate. The chips and salsa to start everything off were exceptional, just enough kick. We will definitely be incorporating this into the line-up. Happy eating.

My name’s John Alex Sanchez today I went to casa de Lorenzo, when I got my goody bag. My tacos were wrapped differently than I remembered and they were labeled with napkins and taped on someone’s taking the time to put that extra love in the food. Oh and the food!!! Omg if that’s not mi abuelitas cooking in the kitchen!!!! My tortillas were toasted which always when done right makes a dramatic effect on the taste of the taco. Now down to the best part for any VAQUEROS the green salsa was definitely homemade it had a taste of sweet and the spice to it was perfected!!! If you haven’t been to CASA DE LORENZO you need to come have breakfast! I recommend the chorizo, egg, potatoes & cheese taco it’s special in my opinion

This authentic Mexican food restaurant is in downtown of San Marcos, the parking is great, the food is beyond delicious! The place is very clean, wonderful staff, I would highly recommend, I will always return anytime I’m on I-35. The prices are very cheap.

The first time we went I would give it a five stars. But when we went yesterday the service was poor. And I don’t think that a server should ever give excuses. Like oh, we are busy. You should be able to handle your business. And our orders did not come out altogether and pancakes were cold by the time I got the butter and when I complained all they did was put my eggs and pancakes in a microwave to heat them up. If I wanted microwaved eggs I would have ate at home or gotten my order to go. Very disappointed this last time. And I kick myself for not looking at the receipt better because I do believe we were charged for things we did not get.
