We were staying in a nearby hotel and we were looking for a breakfast restaurant. It was just a short walk. The restaurant wasn’t busy on a Monday morning. We ordered a latte and a cuppercino first. We also ordered a contadina and panino del contadino. The omelette was good. The panini wasn’t toasted enough to melt the cheese. The cured meats were pretty good. They accept cash only.

Casa Contadina in Niagara Falls was such a lovely breakfast experience for us. The place has this nostalgic, cozy vibe that instantly makes you want to slow down and enjoy your morning.

The absolute highlight, though, was the owner, Felix. He’s a kind, attentive older gentleman who genuinely took care of each and every one of us. He welcomed us so warmly that it honestly felt like we belonged there. And the sweetest touch, he gave each of us a cookie with a smile. It’s the kind of hospitality you don’t forget.

The food did take a bit longer than usual to come out, but it was completely worth it for the overall experience and the care that went into everything.

One quick heads-up: it’s cash only. It wasn’t an issue for us, and there’s an ATM on site if you need it. Highly recommend if you want a cozy, feel-good breakfast spot with real heart.

We went to Casa Contadina for breakfast. It’s a cash-only restaurant, which is good to know in advance. The place was clean and quite empty when we visited, and the service was prompt and polite.
The food was okay overall. The coffee was actually very good — probably the highlight of the meal. The frittata felt more like an omelette, and while the sausage tasted good, we only received two small pieces each. One thing that confused us was the bread portion — we were given three small pieces for two people, which felt like an odd choice (either two or four would have made more sense).
It didn’t feel like the food was cooked by family members, as you could see the cooks in the kitchen, which gave it more of a standard diner feel than a home-style one.
Overall, an okay breakfast spot with good coffee and decent service, but nothing particularly memorable.

they serve breakfast and lunch only. no dinner. It is a Italian family business. Maybe I went there on Sunday, I didn’t see them. By the way, their service is still good. The food quality is good Italian style. Coffee, tiramisu is also good. Inside, of course, is old fashioned style. I recommend.

Beautiful place filled with pictures that capture the soul of Italy. A YouTube film about Sicily was playing on the screen, adding to the atmosphere. The owner greeted us warmly. The food was good but not particularly special overall; however, the cannoli was exceptional and definitely worth trying. We enjoyed our visit.

A cozy Italian spot for the best food cooked by the owner. We were staying in the area and happened upon it for a quick bite to eat as we were catching a tour. The best zuppa toscano I have ever had which included a tiny meatball and a piece of homemade sausage. My spouse also thoroughly enjoyed the lasagna. Good portions and good prices in a place that cannot get anymore authentic. The table next to us joked about kicking their plates clean. We will definitely be back when in the area.

This place is a must-visit if you ever go to Niagara Falls.
Everything is home made, the owner has a lot of personality and is very specific about his cooking, and the ambiance takes you right back to Italy.

Cozy little family run restaurant. Food was great and the servers are super friendly. They are cash only, so be prepared before you eat here. The coffee was a surprising highlight.

We went for a quick breakfast besides where we were staying only to find out a side of waffles was 25$

Finding casa contadina was such a blessing, from the moment we walked in the door it was a warm welcoming environment. A full meal was about 14.99 which is crazy for 2025. They brought out extra snacks for our little one as we waited for breakfast.

I cannot wait to come back and try dinner sometime.

This has become a new staple any time we come to Niagara
