What I did get to enjoy was the happy hour, and it was a fantastic introduction to the place. I started with a hibiscus margarita, which was to die for—bright, floral, and perfectly balanced. My companion and I shared the omakase for two, and everything we tasted was fresh, light, and flavorful.
The hamachi nigiri was my favorite—so clean and refreshing that I keep coming back to that word. The tuna nigiri had a bold flavor I couldn’t quite place. I thought it tasted like truffle oil, but when I asked, there was none—so now I’m just intrigued by what gave it that depth. The smoked swordfish was also a standout. It reminded me a little of tuna salad in the best way—comforting, familiar, but elevated.
Also, huge shoutout to Elena, our server—she was super sweet and attentive the entire time.
All in all, Casa Chi left a great first impression. The happy hour omakase was a perfect intro, and I’m already looking forward to going back for the boozy brunch.
Im definitely coming back to try their Sunday tea brunch!
Honorable mention to our waitress, Adiam! She was so kind and made sure we never needed for anything. She helped to guide us through the menu, which was helpful with some family members we had in town who weren’t as familiar with sushi.
Can’t wait to come back for the Boozy Tea on Sunday! Seems like a great deal for even more foood!
Everything tasted amazing!
My hubby who is usually not into fusion and prefers more traditional Japanese food even loved everything!
Aaron was a great server and very attentive!
Definitely coming back!
