I want to give this 4 and 1/2 stars. I typically only reserved five stars for pretty much perfection.

That said, I had a great experience here. I came a few times as a kid and then once more as an adult around 10 years ago. I’ve always enjoyed the ambiance and themes. The food has definitely improved. I can say I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken enchiladas. They could have used more meat but the flavor was good. The Sofapillas as usual we’re delicious. I enjoyed the cliff diving, the arcade, and the general festivr atmosphere. I came on a Tuesday but it would have seemed like a weekend, it was packed!

Trey Parker and Matt Stone and their team did a wonderful job on this. Glad they preserved this Colorado icon!

The cost of the meal also includes the entertainment, a great deal.

The puppet show was hilarious, loved the magic show & enjoyed walking around to look at all the interesting sights, there are a lot of them.

In my opinion, being a local Denverite, I can say the food is better – looks better & tastes better. I ordered the brisket tacos, yum!

One piece of advice though, DO NOT order a Michelada whatever you do, I swear the beer was sparkling water with hot sauce. Lol.

Massive restaurant with a number of entertainment options. I think the pricing was appropriate given the experience and quality, even though many complain about it. Very much a “factory” type institution, with a standardized and non personalized approach to service and food / entertainment options.

The burrito was decent. The chicken based entrees were not.

The Mi Amor Margarita was quite tasty although a bit sweet for my taste.

Very kid friendly.

I’m not quite sure how to describe my visit to Casa Bonita. The food was good ( loved the sopapillas!) and was served very quickly as there is a limited number of items you can choose from. The service was great and my server was attentive. You get one hour to eat your meal and after you’re able to walk around to the different sections of the restaurant to take in the shows like a puppet show, magician theater, cliff diving, face painting, museum ( a must to see) arcade and more! Reservations are hard to come by and you need to be on time with your entire party present or you will not be allowed in. There is also a metal detector and a bag search before entering. Casa Bonita is more than just a restaurant, it’s an experience!

We had Christmas enchiladas, they are great. The beans and rice were flavorful and cooked perfectly. However I was not blown away by the cabbage salad. It is similar to a cole slaw but not quite there.
The sopaipallas are nothing short of amazing! You get you table for 1 hour, so eat first, and it helps to check the menu and know what you want before setting down. The restaurant is open to you for however long you want to stay after you eat, so make the most of it.
I also need to mention they have a good variety of gluten-free dishes as well. So if you are gluten-free fear not!
The real reason to go to Casa Bonita is the entertainment. Cliff divers, puppet shows, a 70’s style magic show, and awesome arcade will keep you entertained for hours. The who building is an adventure with something corny buy fun around every corner. I love the South Park references hidden here and there. I am almost positive the over head announcements are recorded by Trey Parker.
The staff are friendly and immersed in their characters, but not beyond being helpful. They basically just encourage you to have a great time!

Casa Bonita exceeded our expectations in so many ways!

We traveled from New Mexico to visit while in town for a concert. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, cheerful, definitely made great efforts to make sure we were taken care of and satisfied. The waitress we had did a great job of explaining everything, and was responsive when we left our flag up on our table (we really like this system by the way, its so much easier to communicate!)

The food was delicious, great quality and it was delivered to us fresh within like 2 minutes after we ordered, so their system is very streamlined regarding the kitchen. The price is great value when considering you get the whole experience and not just the food. There are free things such as the balloon artist, face painting, experiences like Black Barts Cave, and so on.

We went during Casa Boonita and the dia de Muertos theme was so cool and on point! Unfortunately the live entertainment was protesting outside on the day we went, so we didn’t get to see the cliff divers, manbearpig, or some of the other entertainers – that being said we were comped a free drink and arcade credits which did help to make up for it.

The whole building was extremely clean, and there is SO much stuff to see and explore! The decorations are very well thought out, the whole theme is awesome – it really stands out that there has been so much time and effort put into making Casa Bonita an amazing experience – we truly loved it! All of the animatronics voiced by Trey and Matt are so hilarious, there are some hints of South Park here and there but none of it was seemingly out of place or intrusive to the theme, and we felt these details also enhanced our experience.

We definitely look forward to coming back for our next time, it was a blast!

I have been coming here since I was a kid and the new CB is amazing. They have kept all the charm of the original CB but made all the necessary changes to make it work today. The food is amazing. Our server Jessica was terrific. So much fun, will go back next time we are in town.

First and foremost, you must make a reservation at least a week in advance! We tried to come without one 2 years ago.
It’s worth the wait and then some !! The food was excellent but the atmosphere and entertainment is awesome. Somthing cool and interesting around every corner. Staff is accommodating and fun. We were originally sat in the ” cave ” couldn’t see or hear anything, that was horrible. Thankfully a quick conversation with the manager and we were relocating in moments. The varierty of things to do is somthing for eveyone!
The new upgrades in place since the renovation is awesome. Go and go often

Thoroughly enjoyed this place. First hearing about this place through South Park and then seeing random videos on YouTube really made me want to visit. I loved everything from the food and performances (highlight the divers, worth premium seats imo) to the whole atmosphere and overall vibe. Our waiters Paige and Adriana were very welcoming and attentive. The chicken enchiladas in Christmas sauce, Betty’s Burrito, and sopapillas were on point. The cliff divers, puppet show, the magician Sorsoro and guitarists were extremely entertaining and seeing manbearpig and Cartman made me feel like I was in an episode of South Park. First going in and hearing the guitarist really made me feel like I was transported to a festive little village. Going through Black Barts cave a seeing the creeper was fun. I didnt mind hearing kids scream from the jump scares. Just be careful at the gift shop as there’s lots of cool souvenirs. I stuck with enamel pins and key chains but now that I think about it I’ll probably have to go back for the snow globe and christmas sweaters. All worth the prices tbh. Highly recommend. Even though I live in Chicago I will definitely be coming back.

If you live in Colorado, you have to go to Casa Bonita. I went so many times when I was growing up. At the time, you went for the fun but got sick off the food – and it was still worth it! But now? The food is vastly improved, the staff is fantastic, and the experience is second to none.

If you haven’t been, picture the restaurant at Pirates of the Caribbean queue at Disneyland. It’s such a fun place to take the family or hang out with friends. There are tons of activities and the puppet show was an absolute highlight. Pretty sure everyone there was laughing so hard that we were crying.

Everything still felt like what I experienced as a child but was clean and fresh. Make sure you plan several hours and have a great time! Oh, and save room for all the sopapillas you can handle.
