This is the 4th Casa Blanca restaurant we have tried in the region, and as with the others, we recommend. The setting is very pleasant (we were here in the middle of the afternoon, so the number of guests was very low :-), and the food is always good. While we didnt get margaritas this time due to the time of day, we have always enjoyed their margaritas, and the special prices (happy hour and T/Th) are definitely a good deal.

During our trip to Palm Springs, I visited this place with my partner. We were searching for a Mexican restaurant and found this one through Google. As soon as we arrived, we were seated immediately, and the menu had a wide variety of options. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, checking on us periodically. The food was absolutely delicious.

$14 Horchata ridiculously expensive. A few weeks ago I went to this restaurant but got very disappointed, let me explain, food is ok but, everything is expensive now, horchata drink cost me close to $14 or more, the drink cost $10 plus tax, so we are talking over $11 now with tax included, but if you add the “optional” (because otherwise the waiter stares at you like if it was mandatory) 20% tip on the bill, now we are talking over $13, and the worse as you can see on the picture is 80% ice, (when they pour the drink the ice melt a little so it looks that is 50% ice), I can’t believe that I’m paying close to $14 for a glass of ice pretty much, I don’t know if the charged me for the tap water, because it says on the bill two drinks but on the menu said $10 per drink so, not going back, there is plenty of other restaurants in the area that have good food.

I’ve been coming here once or twice a week for the last 3 or 4 years, sometimes more often than that post pandemic. The food is good, but the people that work there are truly wonderful. You can tell they genuinely care about each other, which tells you something about the way the restaurant is managed. Valeria runs a happy crew, and happy people give good service. There are other regulars that we see quite often. People know a good thing when they find it.
The happy hour margaritas are priced at only $5.50 at this time, and they have other drink specials as well. Monday through Friday from 3-6, and I think Tuesday and Thursday are all day happy hour.
Give this place a try, you won’t regret it.

Casa Blanca is a chain restaurant here in the valley, I’ve been to 3 of the 4. Consistently good Mexican food and great margaritas across their locations. Popped in for lunch, I had the Carnitas Mucho burrito and hubby tried the shredded beef tamale, both dishes were delicious. We also hade the queso fundido, gooey, yummy! Great happy hour prices on the margarita.

This is a go to for us when we are in that area. Large parking lot. Very flavorful food. The atmosphere is colorful and fun. We like the high backed booths giving us just the right amount of privacy for our group. We have tried several different dishes and all have been good.

In the beautiful city of Palm Desert. CA on assignment, I stopped by Casa Blanca to feast on their caldo de res( beef vegetable soup). I uploaded a few images of the large serving that I ordered. It was simply devine. It is typically paired up with either corn or flour tortillas but today, I had saltine crackers and washed it down with an iced tea! Give Casa Blanca Restaurant a try next time you are in the so-cal desert area of Palm Springs, Ca!

3.5 stars in reality. Only two tables outside with the inside hardly packed even during lunch hour. Service was quick initially when being seated and getting menus for us. The waitress was ok, but very nice. I believe over the course of an hour we were generally checked on once besides the normal original drink and food order and “check” visit which is my only large complaint. Very small thing I didn’t hold against them was not offering water on the side with drinks at all but just know you should ask for it if you would like some. Tacos were pretty good, and the salsa for both the chips and tacos were very nice in my opinion. Margarita for happy hour was ok, but we only tried blended. Beer comes in an icy mug which doesn’t work in favor of beers but I understand it has a large appeal to many people. Decent place overall.

This establishment is great! The food is fantastic and the drinks are definitely the kind that will get someone very happy. Although they were very short staffed, the service and the food was absolutely fantastic. I forgot what our server’s name was but she was very kind and helpful since it was our first time visiting. I highly recommend coming here for a good time and good food. Plus, they have great oysters.

If your in the mood for Mexican cuisine then this is the place you want to visit. Located in the beautiful Palm Desert, location is great adjacent to the 111 highway with lots of available parking. When you enter the restaurant you really feel like you are down south, the music, the decor to the friendly staff. Quickly seated, drink order taken and the generous pile of fresh chips and salsa!
Now I’ve visited my share of Mexican restaurants looking for that taste, like grandma’s, and this is really close. But of course no one could top Grandma. Fajitas are I must try I had the chicken and steak served sizzling! The chile rellenos I would not pass on if you like them and the Posole is fantastic with this homemade broth and very flavorful served with your choice of tortilla. Food was served timely, refills non stop. Now the only downside…..No flan! They have flan just not on this day, actually its so good they claim that they actually run out of it at times. Guess I’ll have to come back for flan and the fajitas too! Excellent place, local favorite drop in and support them. Thank you Casa Blanca!!
