We walked in with a party of 5 during dinner and were seated right away at a nice booth with a large table. The intimate seating made it easy to focus on our conversations without distractions, and our server was great.
Dressed Raw Oysters ($1/Oyster HH): I didn’t try these, but my husband enjoyed them.
Fried Olives Stuffed With Herbs ($11): Served with gorgonzola cream. I’m not usually big on olives, but they were delicious and made a great starter for the table.
Cured Scallop + Apple ($23): This dish came with shaved celery, galangal, and bergamot. The combination was interesting and worked well, offering a cool, refreshing contrast to some of the heavier items we ordered.
Chicken Parm + Angel Hair ($25): A Tuesday special and one of my friend’s favorites here. This was one of the better versions we’ve had. The chicken was super crispy on the outside without being dry inside, and it wasn’t too heavy.
Confit + Fried Chicken Wings ($10 HH): Three huge wings that were quite good. The Calabrian chili jam offered a different flavor profile that I enjoyed, though I still lean toward Asian flavors.
Cavatelli ($17): This lamb and hazelnut ragu with fermented honey was a first for me. I don’t think I’ve ever had lamb pasta before. The lamb flavor came through without being overpowering. Worth trying once for the novelty, but probably not something I’d order again.
Grilled Pork Belly ($31): Served with guanciale, date relish, and caramelized pear. The portion felt small for the price, and the pork belly itself was just okay. The flavors didn’t really come through as expected.
Crispy Skin Branzino ($38): This came with brown butter corn puree and pistachio salsa verde. The fish was smaller than expected, and while it was good, the flavors were more mellow than the flavor bomb I was expecting.
C.R.E.A.M. ($10 HH): A refreshing cocktail with white rum, coconut, pandan, lime, and absinthe. Surprisingly good and on the lighter side.
Small plates, so order a bunch, but affordable and outstanding. Dressed oysters $1/pop? No brainer
I definitely recommend the mushroom lasagna, the veg arancini, risotto, and my favorite was the Pork Belly with the touch of the peach it was incredible.
Also they had cool wine glasses, bigger than my head.
And our server surprised us with the dessert, thanks queen!
Overall love the food and the service❤️
Unfortunately, the entrees were disappointing, especially considering the portion sizes and price. While the presentation was nice, the tortellini pasta was noticeably undercooked and the shrimp were overcooked. The dish was also overly salty, which overwhelmed any other flavors. The risotto was disappointing… it was cold, tasted very acidic, and lacked the rich creamy texture you’d expect. Instead, it was sour and had the consistency of loose oatmeal. After one bite, we were so put off we couldn’t eat any more.
That said, I would absolutely return for the drinks and the happy hour menu, which were the highlights of the experience.
We had a wonderful dinner at Casa Bianca and tried a variety of dishes. We started with the oysters, which were fresh and well seasoned, and the bluefin cannoli, which was a unique and flavorful bite. The confit fried chicken wings were outstanding—crispy, savory, and easily one of the highlights of the evening. We also enjoyed the whole branzino, which was perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned, making it another favorite at the table.
The cavatelli was flavorful, though a touch too salty for our liking. Still, the overall quality and creativity of the menu really stood out.
The ambiance was warm and inviting, and we appreciated the ease of parking nearby. Service was truly exceptional—the pacing of the courses was spot on, and the attention to detail throughout the evening elevated the entire experience.
Casa Bianca is a gem, and we’re already looking forward to returning
Not only was the service amazing (shout out to Richie!), but the drink, FOOD, entire service crew (from runners to servers to host to chef!!), and atmosphere were all Michelin-caliber. The chef even came out to chat with us (he saw me literally lick the plate it was so the food was so good!).
The risotto was my favorite of the night if I was forced to pick, followed closely by those chicken wings (I almost got them for “dessert” but was too full). But genuinely, an exquisite evening from top to bottom!!
Sorry my photos aren’t the best. I was too excited to eat!!
