First time having pizza focaccia and they are incredible! Will definitely be back if I’m in the area. Plenty of tables and the staff are very nice.
Mushroom & sausage focaccia – fluffy soft with crispy edges, garlicky, and full of flavor.
Garlic bread – I’d skip it next time to try another pizza.

Second time getting focaccia here and just have to spread the word on how absolutely delicious the food is! The focaccia is soft with a nice crunchy bottom and the vegetarian flavors are excellent. Today we had the arrabiata and it did have a bit of a kick, nice tomato paste flavor and such a lovely texture! Also enjoyed an avocado caprese sandwich- vegetarian and very beautiful with pale green tomatoes, avocados and arugula paired with mozzarella. The service is wonderful and the dining area is very cute and clean! Prices are reasonable. Will come back for dinner and drinks at some point!

I recently visited Casa Barotri for a student networking dinner at Casa Barroti, and the experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Melissa and her team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, they even served everything family-style, which made the evening feel so warm and connected. The rotisserie chicken was to die for—perfectly marinated, tender, and full of flavor—and every dish that came out was fresh and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was cozy yet elegant, and the staff treated us like family. Casa Barroti is truly a hidden gem, and I can’t wait to come back!

I love this place! The staff is friendly and the food is just so good. I came here with my Italian friend and she liked it as well. Good value for the price. You can eat there or take it to go. I recommend the margherita slice, I’ve come back for it many times!

Oakland. The crust was on point but we were underwhelmed by the toppings. The spicy arrabbiata needed cheese, the capricciosa was flavorful but not something we’d want to order again and the margherita was the best of the 3 we tried. We also ordered the torta di spinaci which we did like. Overall, glad we tried but no need to repeat.

Melissa and Pepe are cooking up some incredible Peruvian and Italian dishes from scratch. Make sure to try the chicken, tamales, pizza, and arancini. Great service and lovely ambiance for a delicious meal. Keep it up!

Must have new owners and management that unfortunately changed the menu options and italian vibe. It’s quite noticeable not the same place. The pizza bread, which is a type of focaccia is not as good as it used to be and the toppings look skimpy. They now started to carry non Italian menu items that have nothing to do with pizza. SO SAD ABOUT THIS. We had guests from of town and hyped it up only to be sadly disappointed.

Light, airy crust with a crispy exterior is topped with wonderfully fresh ingredients. The eggplant slice is excellent as was the zucchini pesto version. This place had a change of ownership in 2024. I was excited to try the new rotisserie chicken. Unfortunately, it was dangerously undercooked and I was unable to eat it from fear of food poisoning. Just disappointing. On the bright side, the aji sauce for the chicken was very tasty with the plain focaccia, which thankfully was as delicious as it was since the beginning.

Stumbled upon this place recently and thought it was a great place for a casual bite. They had lots of focaccia options and some Peruvian chicken which I wanted to try next time.
