It was our first time there and we loved it! Kenya was our server, very nice and friendly, but really everyone was pleasant and welcoming!! The food was fresh and tasty, the service was on point and quick. The atmosphere was excellent, there was music and some special moments that made us like we were part of others’ celebrations! Give it a try, you will love it too!!

A fun and pleasant surprise. My companions and I were in the mood for Mexican and two restaurants appeared in our search. We chose Casa Azteca because it was rated higher. We definitely made the right choice.
Our server, David, was extremely attentive (and patient). The staff kept the chips and salsa flowing until our entrees arrived. Additionally, we ordered drinks and I recommend the meza old fashion drink for its smooth, smoky flavor.
If you hear the music suddenly get loud, be prepared because it’s time to celebrate someone’s birthday. Lots of clapping and cloth napkin waving. It’s a fun vibe and happens multiple times throughout the evening.
The prices are reasonable and the portions are good. Our only complaint on the first visit was that the shrimp were extremely bland… like zero seasoning. Otherwise everyone enjoyed their food. For dessert, the entire table devoured a giant ball of cotton candy on a stick.
To tell you how much we enjoyed this place, we had plans to eat somewhere else the following night, but walked out of the restaurant before ordering and drove back to Casa Azteca. Once again, David took care of us. Oh, and they have karaoke!

Casa Azteca is a new hidden gem in Mooresville that’s absolutely worth the visit. It’s easy to miss since it’s tucked away off the main road, but once inside you’ll be glad you found it.
The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by beautiful artwork and a warm, stylish atmosphere that sets the tone for a fine dining experience—without the fine dining price tag. My friend and I went in blind to celebrate her birthday, and we were both blown away. From the glowing Kindle menus to the tableside fresh guacamole, the details make it feel like something special.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and well worth the money. Drinks were spot on, too—this is definitely the type of place you could come just for cocktails and conversation. If you’re celebrating a birthday, I highly recommend it (I won’t spoil the surprise, but trust me, it’s a fun touch!).
The only downsides for me: the booth seating isn’t the most comfortable if you’re bigger than a size medium, and I felt the house-made seasoning could use a pinch more salt—and I’m someone who almost never says that.
Overall, Casa Azteca delivers a memorable dining experience and is a fantastic addition to Mooresville. I can’t wait to go back!

We enjoyed a wonderful meal and had a great time watching the amazing birthday celebration the team here puts on. I had the Picanha, prepared Medium and it was outstanding. I have been there once before and had the Steak fajitas which were amazing as well. I highly recommend Casa Azteca. We will be back!

Amazing! Give it a chance! Food was very flavorful! Drinks are amazing. 2 tops will have you feeling great! And as a vegan, I was Impressed that they had a separate vegetarian menu (was easy to convert to vegan) a special for each day.

Really confused about some of these other reviews. I thought this was some of the best food I ever had in my 48 years of living. Our service was wonderful as well as the bacon wrapped jumbo shrimp, black mussels and my main course. The flavor was unreal! The vibe was very inviting and especially love how they celebrate your birthday! Keep up the good work. Jesus couldn’t please everybody and some live to complain….I will you see you soon

This restaurant has perfected the Mexican cuisine experience in my opinion. The entire staff was personable, attentive, and quick. I mention the entire staff because we saw several members and they all exhibited the same qualities. The food was quick, the quality was exceptional, the flavor was delicious, and the portion was great. I honestly could not think of one thing I would change other than I wish there was one closer to Salisbury so I didn’t have to make up a reason to drive this far. Absolutely my new favorite and will be back as often as possible!
