The pics are from my second visit to this place. I really enjoy there beef nachos especially since you can order them on fried potatoe slices as suppose to traditional tortillas chips is why I went a second time. It’s under Appetizers but I ordered for meal instead. Large enough for 2 people to share at $15.99. The drinks here are NOT that great. They’re fair. I had a frozen pina colada & Blue Caruso; to much syrup. Staff does seem friendly. As any place, expect to wait on prime nights. Pricing is average. Not to expensive like other places.

basically a perfect execution of a small town Tex-Mex restaurant. friendly staff, the service was super fast. my food came out hot and delicious. good chips, well made red and green sauce. I’m a chili gravy cheese enchilada snob and theirs was perfectly good, basically exactly what you would expect and that’s not a bad thing.

I honestly have no idea why there are so many good reviews on this place. Absolutely disgusting. Ordered the tacos Al carbon (beef) and first off the tortilla is just heated up tortilla you get out the package. Nothing homemade about it. The cheese is the color and taste of nacho cheese you get out at the ballpark. I took two bites and pushed my plate away. I never once had anybody check on me. The beef fajita was so chewy it was ridiculous. Never will I be back.

We went last Saturday, 5/31/25 for a later lunch. There was live music, so it was a little loud, but enjoyable. Chose the delicious birria tacos. They were a little greasy and messy, but totally worth it. The meat was so tender and seasoned perfectly. Very good visit and will be back just for the tacos!

Can’t say enough about this place. Great TexMex, great service and very clean. The taco dinner is my favorite and the chips and green sauce are perfect for me. The iced tea is good too. Keep up the good cooking!

By chance, while visiting La Porte on business, I stopped in for dinner and was thrilled to find an authentic Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere left me feeling like I had crossed the border. The staff was super friendly and the service was fantastic. The food was delicious, the portions were huge, and delicious.

Use to be one of my favorite Mexican spots by work but their food has slowly decline. Went for a menudo yesterday at lunch and the hominy was thrown in my menudo straight out of the can, not cooked. I still tried to eat around it but I still brought it up to the server anyway and he acted like I was lying to the point that he had me put it in his hand. He said I could take it home and cook it more at home yeah last time I’m going there. Arandas down the freeway is way better anyways. I still paid for my menudo and took just the meat and juice home and left him his uncooked hominy. I would’ve just told the customer there was no hominy, the menudo would’ve been fine without it.

I liked this restaurant immediately when I received tostadas and salsa. The red salsa is soooo flavorful and the green salsa as well. I ordered the Friday Dinner. It was a lot of food, well prepared. I also ordered jalapeños. Why do restaurants charge for jalapeños? The jalapeños were not at all hit and not tasty for a dollar lol. Oh well. The salsa was among the best I’ve ever had.
