Everything we’ve tried here has been absolutely delicious! The quesabirrias are amazing, the al pastor tacos and al pastor pizza are packed with flavor, and even the sesos tacos are done perfectly. You can really taste the authenticity and care in the food.

And their café de olla is incredible — honestly one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had, and I’ve been drinking coffee for over 30 years.

Highly recommend this spot if you want truly flavorful Mexican food! ☕

You do have to wait a little bit for your food but it is WELL worth the wait!!!
The lady told us she loved the food & it is definitely NOT Tex-Mex!!! The salsa is amazing & the barria tacos are soooo good.
We will definitely be coming here again.

Came here after being at SeaWorld. We like how it’s open late on the weekends. Food was REALLY GOOD. Prices are great, portions are large.

I’m trying really hard to like this place. The first time here the food was tasteless and not prepared very well. The second time here the food was much better. The service is terrible to the degree that I cannot recommend anyone try this place. I literally have to carry my cup around like a kid to get the “server” to even acknowledge im here. It is insulting to your customers to be treated like this. Your karaoke is the reason we returned to give this place a second chance. But even with that, I can’t see bringing my people here. I hope the service will improve but the waitress is absolutely consumed with her drink and the counter. It must be exhausting to work so hard at staying in one place. Unfortunately for her, the tip will reflect the service….honestly I feel like I deserve to be tipped.

This restaurant is fairly new. It’s my 1st time here. They offer $1 mini tacos and margaritas at $3.50 on Tuesdays from 4pm-6pm. Their service could use some improvement. If I had known in advance that they scored an 80 on their last inspection, I wouldn’t have eaten here. The restaurant is very clean and well organized, tho. Let’s hope their next inspection is a 100!
Come check them out for yourself

Food looked good and some parts were, but the communication was not great. I asked if the food was spicy, and they said it wasn’t, but as soon as I took a bite, I had to spit it out. I couldn’t even taste the meat with the amount of salsa. Menudo was decent, and staff were fairly nice, just couldn’t communicate clearly. Unfortunately for the amount we paid, it was sad so much food had to go to waste because we could not eat it. Would not be coming again.

It was our first time visiting this restaurant, and we were unsure of what to expect. Upon entering, we noticed the ample seating and attractive decor. There were televisions available for sports viewing, but the background music was somewhat jarring. Chips and salsa were provided, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. She suggested the quesatacos birria, which my wife decided to try. I chose the carne en salsa, and my daughter opted for the birria ramen. The quesotacos were slightly bland and lacked flavor. The meat was cut into large chunks and contained significant amounts of fat, which my wife found unappetizing. My carne en salsa was served in a shallow bowl and tasted bland due to the charro beans and their liquid overwhelming the dish. However, the birria ramen was exceptional. The bowl was filled with a vibrant red soup, abundant noodles, and a generous portion of meat. We all thoroughly enjoyed the ramen dish. I intend to revisit the restaurant to explore other potentially delicious menu items.

First time. We got Birria tacos de res and carnitas tacos with rice and beans. I dislike they added onions in the birria, without them telling me there was gonna be any. The carnitas didn’t have much flavor. And the rice also had no flavor. Staff was friendly. Will I return, no.

I asked the cashier to hold the onions.. she answered with “no you didn’t. “
Wonderful waitresses are gone because “it’s cheaper.”
Delicious cup of complimentary chicken soup gone.
Plates and silverware gone. Everything served on heb Styrofoam plates and plastic forks.
This plate cost $13.
This is not tex-mex.

I came to this franchise because I usually go to the main Culebra location, but the service there has been deplorable. I even found the napkin holder dirty and a small dead cockroach, which made me leave. Coming here was a great decision—the morning staff are very friendly, and the place is much cleaner and better maintained than the original.
