We’ve been driving past this place for quite a while and decided to stop in for dinner tonight. This building has had great Mexican food restaurants in it most it’s life. Casa Amigos carries on the tradition. The interior is bright, clean and minimal. They start you off with free totilla chips and salsa. The menu had most of the common dinners and entrees. I got the beef enchilada dinner with a side tamale and my wife got the street taco dinner. Both were very good. The flour tortillas were homemade as were the tamales. No alcohol drinks available at this time but they said they were working on it. All in all a restaurant worthy of trying if you are in the area. Also, the prices seemed very reasonable to us.

The food was good. They say the salsa is homemade although it was super thin and had hardly any chunks in it it seemed more like sauce rather than salsa. The chips could use some salt. But the steak tacos, the beans and rice and the quesabirria was fantastic. The consommé had actual chunks of meat in it. Yum. Our server’s name was Nancy and she was super helpful and very attentive. The inside there’s plenty of seating although it could use a brighter color of paint the gray is kind of depressing. There’s plenty of parking. It looks like you’re starting to drive into not a nice part of town but it really isn’t too bad. It’s worth the food. I’ll definitely be back for the steak tacos. And the portions were generous as well. We win at lunch time and there was three of us we each got a drink and a lunch and it was about 50 bucks.

So so so good!! The rice and beans are amazing. The chips and salsa are great. Everything is seasoned just right and if you like Mexican food this is ABSOLUTELY worth a stop in.

Finally got around to trying this place. We ordered online through doordash and picked it up.
I got street tacos, my mom got tostadas.
I will say the meat seemed a little dry (i got 1 asada, 1 pastor and 1 barabcoa) but overall the whole taco was delicious. Mom really liked hers too.
Definitely will be back, the nachos look so good and of course I’ll have to try the birria.
I’ve been spoiled by southern california (tacos el gordo makes the best pastor in america lol) but this place is definitely good.

My husband and I stopped in to check this place out. We love Mexican food and were super excited to see a new local restaurant.
The atmosphere was ok. It was dark gray colors with just a few decorations. Nevertheless, the place was clean with plenty of seating. As you come in, you just seat yourselves, and then they come to greet you with menu’s. The staff seemed to be very friendly.
As for our food, we were super excited for the chips and salsa but ended up disappointed. The salsa looks more like tomato soup and doesn’t have hardly any texture, and for our dinners, I ordered the Quesabirria Dinner, and my husband had the Wet Burrito Dinner. My dinner was really good, and the consume was flavorful, but my food wasn’t very hot. It was as if it sat for little while before being served. Same for my husband’s dinner. Our overall experience was ok. We may come back and give it another try in the future.

I have been doing delivery pickups for this restaurant for months. I finally had the chance to get an order of takeout. Not only is it a clean business, but the owners are the nicest and most polite that I have had the chance to see on a regular basis in a long time. The food was perfect. It reminded me of having dinner at my friend’s mom’s house with her homemade tortillas and fideo.

Overall, I thought the whole experience was great and would recommend to everyone I know. I got the Birria Raman and my husband got the tacos. It was hot and the flavor was good, too. The Raman is something I will go back for again in the very near future. This place is cute and for being open less than 2 weeks I thought everything was fantastic. Like most places they are still trying to work out some of the kinks but they asked for feedback on every aspect of our experience while we were there. I think that really shows that the longer they are open the better the entire experience will get. I read the reviews before going and I’m so glad I didn’t let the couple bad reviews stop me. For a restaurant that just opened I thought it was everything I could have asked for. HIGHLY recommend the Raman. I can’t wait to go back to try their sandwich. A table near us ordered it and it made me want to order another round of food. They also have breakfast options that looked phenomenal. I really liked the range of their menu and am excited to have another good lunch place near by. Only thing I recommend is to bring a jacket. It was pretty chilly inside but the food warmed us right up.

I really enjoy this place! You have to come back two or three times to find the menu items you like the best. Everything isn’t for all tastes, but there plenty of dishes at Casa Amigo’s that will become your favorite!
