Authentic Salvadoran fare. We stopped for breakfast and shared a sampler plate. The Pork Revuelta Pupusa was incredible. The plate also came with a flauta, a tamalito (not a tamale you’re familiar with, this was more like a delicious cake), fried plantains, 3 dipping sauces and frijoles con crema. We can’t wait to go back and try some of the Honduran meals.

I love this restaurant. True authentic El Salvadorian food. I had 2 pork papusas with rice, beans and cabbage on the side and it was extremely good. Best papusa I have ever had hands down. Casa Amaya exceeded my expectations. It has been hard to find authentic Salvi food in the SA area. I am a Texas born Salvi and when I tell you that I almost cried when I took my first bites, I’m not exaggerating. My heart was so happy. The pupusas are EXTRA FRESH! Such great service, clean and fun environment. The beautiful towels on the walls that tell unique stories of our small, but mighty country are the first thing I noticed when I walked in. When you see towels on the walls of Salvi restaurants, get ready to have your mind blown! I can’t wait to come back. The level of comfort is beyond compare. Gracias Alberto! This place is the best and where I have felt right at home in a very long time!

Went on a Saturday afternoon. The establishment is in a nice area, very clean and the staff are very friendly. There was no wait time and the service was excellent. There is a variety of choices and they also offer sampler platters. I had pork pupusas with the rice and beans. Everything tasted exceptional. The pupusas were not fried, that was great for us. I’m very glad we chose to visit this restaurant and made the drive from SA. Will go back for sure.

Great spot for some authentic El Salvador food! I’ve tried the Papusas, Tortas and tacos, everything has been great flavor, high quality and served fast. My favorite part of any dish are the pickled jalapeños and carrots that come on the side though, so tasty.
