We had an incredible dinner at Casa 43. We shared the Tostones de Carnitas, Chicken Quesadilla, and Carne Asada Tacos—all delicious and perfect for those who prefer non-spicy but flavorful food.

The drinks were top-notch: the Mojito was so refreshing and the Frozen Mango was simply fantastic! We topped it all off with the Tres Leches and Churros bowl, which were the perfect sweet ending.

The atmosphere is great, and a special shout-out to our waitress—she was super friendly, professional, and made our night even better. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this place!

From the moment you walk in, Casa 43 makes you feel like your vacation was worth every penny. The host is absolutely top-notch and genuinely excited you are there which sets the tone for the entire experience.

The bartenders are a standout all on their own and we have met them all. They are knowledgeable about tequila, happy to help you with a tasting or two, and most importantly, they are fun and have personalities that make you want to stay for “just one more.” You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in every pour and conversation.

I can’t forget the food… this is Mexican done right, with authentic recipes prepared fresh the way it should be. Every item seems perfectly paired with the tequila menu and shows they know food is what will make us return.

We have made travel plans to many Caribbean Islands and Casa 43 has been the deciding reason to return to Grand Cayman…that might sound crazy but that is how you may feel with just one visit. Sit at the bar and get to know them…you just might go back again the next night. I am sure you will feel like you’ve discovered the spot everyone wishes they knew about.

I got the chicken and al pastor tacos which were really tasty. The al pastor was super tender. Definitely try their house salsa, it was so good with a nice heat. Great for the gluten free people in my group because of the clear gf/celiac markings on the menu.

Second time here in ~6 months. Sharp fish bone in ceviche, bartenders commenting on personal appearances of patrons (not friends) while taking shots. Quality of food and service decreased. Manager needs to get it together. Sister restaurant Lloyd’s seems better quality of food and service if you had to choose. Plenty of variety in the area, don’t need to go here if you want good Mexican.

Recommended by a local as their favorite place and it did not disappoint! Best tacos I have ever eaten and by far the best food I had while on the island. So good in fact, that we had to go back to try more, which is a big compliment given that I try to eat at as many new places as possible when I travel. Everything we ordered from the guac special, drinks, and plantains to the birria, carne asada, and lobster tacos were absolutely heaven in every bite. On top of that, the restaurant is celiac safe with a clearly labeled menu and knowledgeable staff. The menu indicates what is not gluten free, what is gf but not celiac safe, and what is gf/celiac safe. And a majority of the menu was celiac safe or could be made celiac safe. The staff were wonderful, friendly and attentive. Atmosphere has a great vibe. And their dedication of their restaurant to their dog through their story and logo melts my heart.

Down sides- Restaurant is small (which is part of the vibe), so you might have to wait. We went around 7 both days and no wait the first time and about 20 min the second. Parking is sparse and no outdoor seating.

If you want authentic mexican food, you must come here!
It’s a little off the main scenic spots but you’re not far from Seven Mile, so a perfect spot after a lovely day at the beach.
The decor is really cool, ans definitely transports you to another place! – The food is something else! Everything was absolutely amazing, delicious and fresh! The spices were amazing and it is definitely one of the best mexican spots on the island!
It was reasonably priced and everything we had (a mix of tacos / appetizers including the street corn which you MUST try) was of outstanding quality!
The drinks were potent and also fantastic, I recommend a classic margarita!
Service was also brilliant, super friendly, warm, welcoming and quick!!

I recommend going on a Monday night as it’s less busy and I can see how this place fills up so quickly!

10/10 all round, 100% recommend and I will definitely be going back to try more of these incredible dishes!
