June 2019 new owners took over The Caryville Inn after an extensive remodel. We try and use as much local produce and support as many local vendors as possible. Wednesday from 4PM-9PM is 50 cent wing night – our wings are fresh and cooked to order (Customer favorite). Our Steaks and Burgers are sourced locally from Alabama Holley Farms. Friday Fish Fry (Beer battered or traditional) continues to be a fan favorite. Hand cut French Fries. Creative and delicious Specials served daily using many locally grown ingredients whenever possible. 4 beer taps with a nice variety as well as specialty cocktails dreamed up with creativity. A BEAUTIFUL PATIO for dining complete with a gas fire pit to relax and enjoy the outdoors!

We stopped to eat at a magical place called Caryville inn, Oakfield. The waitress was exceptionally nice. All the food that we ordered was very delicious, including a gluten-free and vegetarian options. Highly recommended!

My family has been here before and they usually have good food. However that wasn’t the case this time. We all ordered fish dinners. Fried and broiled. I also ordered new england clam chowder soup. We all thought our fish didn’t taste very good. I don’t really know why, as I don’t know if it wasn’t very fresh or if it was something else. I probably wouldn’t go back but it might be really good for others.

It was our first visit. I’ve been by there a hundred times, so it’s about time! My steak salad was absolutely delicious and just as I requested. I loved the ice water carafe on the table. Decor is homey and tasteful. Can’t beat 50¢ wings! We’ll be back.

The food is pretty good here, however the customer service hasn’t been great. We often order take out and show up a few minutes after we were told our food would be ready. When we finally can get someone to check on the food they say they’ll “be right back” and disappear into the kitchen for another 20 minutes, after already having waited the estimated 30-45.
I understand it gets busy, however this has happened to us multiple times at this point.

This is my favorite restaurant in the area when it’s warm outside. They have a beautiful patio and garden out back. The owner and staff are so kind and wonderful, and the food is always great.
Their menu changes and online versions aren’t currently in date, so I am solving that here and now by posting some pics of the current menu with this review.

I’ve been wanting to try Caryville Inn and today I stopped in. I was greeted by a gorgeous bar tender named Jen who was friendly and just excellent at what she does. I had a delicious chicken wrap with house made chips and a couple ice cold yuenglings. There’s a beautiful patio out back and the interior is clean and recently remodeled. I highly recommend and look forward to returning.(I hope Jen is there, she really is cute):-)
