June 2019 new owners took over The Caryville Inn after an extensive remodel. We try and use as much local produce and support as many local vendors as possible. Wednesday from 4PM-9PM is 50 cent wing night – our wings are fresh and cooked to order (Customer favorite). Our Steaks and Burgers are sourced locally from Alabama Holley Farms. Friday Fish Fry (Beer battered or traditional) continues to be a fan favorite. Hand cut French Fries. Creative and delicious Specials served daily using many locally grown ingredients whenever possible. 4 beer taps with a nice variety as well as specialty cocktails dreamed up with creativity. A BEAUTIFUL PATIO for dining complete with a gas fire pit to relax and enjoy the outdoors!

My family has been here before and they usually have good food. However that wasn’t the case this time. We all ordered fish dinners. Fried and broiled. I also ordered new england clam chowder soup. We all thought our fish didn’t taste very good. I don’t really know why, as I don’t know if it wasn’t very fresh or if it was something else. I probably wouldn’t go back but it might be really good for others.

I’ve been wanting to try Caryville Inn and today I stopped in. I was greeted by a gorgeous bar tender named Jen who was friendly and just excellent at what she does. I had a delicious chicken wrap with house made chips and a couple ice cold yuenglings. There’s a beautiful patio out back and the interior is clean and recently remodeled. I highly recommend and look forward to returning.(I hope Jen is there, she really is cute):-)

It was our first visit. I’ve been by there a hundred times, so it’s about time! My steak salad was absolutely delicious and just as I requested. I loved the ice water carafe on the table. Decor is homey and tasteful. Can’t beat 50¢ wings! We’ll be back.

first time dining here. the interior of the restaurant looked really nice. it was a nice evening so our group of 7 chose to sit outside on the back patio. the server was good, and the food came out pretty fast. food quality was good. my biggest complaint was that the outdoor dining pulled in a lot of bees and flies this night. I’m not saying the place is not clean, but the bugs were definitely a big distraction during our meal. we probably should’ve asked to be moved indoors but we were a large party and that would’ve created a new set of problems. we’ll go back again but we’ll sit indoors.

A positive dining experience always starts with a positive greeting by the staff & our waitress was wonderfully polite, engaging, & nice. I got the French onion burger which they allowed me to swap it to grilled chicken (bc I’m chilling on the beef now that I’m older)…plus the option to switch is on the menu so it wasn’t considered a special request which I’m sure they would’ve accommodated anyway. Great food! Just go. Small town & great lil joint.
