We are a local, family owned business with 3 locations in the Clackamas/Oregon City/Estacada area. We are family friendly with a full breakfast, lunch, dinner menu and full bar service open 7 days a week. Friendly staff and great food with large portions are what we are known for. Stopped by after a day of floating. We’ve been wanting to try this place out for a long time. There’s always lots of cars and seems like a very popular place for food and drinks. We were seated very quickly in the bar. Ordered our food, and were we almost immediately disappointed. The food was a huge letdown. The portions were huge, but nobody wants to eat a ton of gross food. We saw a neighboring table with an enormous order of nachos, enough to feed 5-6 people. The worst of all our orders was the pizza. It was extremely undercooked and soggy. She couldn’t even pick it up. I’m not sure she even took one bite of it because it was so bad. My sandwich was edible, but absolutely nothing special. We definitely won’t be back again
Also, one of the biggest summers was that the back patio was closed. It was a super hot day, so I get closing it during the hot part of the day. But we were there around 8pm, so sitting outside on a warm summer night would have been amazing

Stopped for a quick lunch on the way to the coast. It was Friday so course had to try their housemaid clam chowder which was delicious. Simple half sandwich with fries all amazing. Drinks were good too.

Greeted at the door by “the Big Guy.” Seated within 10 minutes in Father’s Day. Our server, Laney, was delightful and VERY helpful! The food was served hot and looked good, tasted good, and well done by the cooks. Well worth the trip to Carver. Thanks again, Laney!

I stopped by after googling Bloody Marys near me. I am so happy this is what showed up. I wasn’t going to eat but once we walked in food smelled delicious so I sat down to eat. I’m a big clam chowder person I enjoyed the bacon in it very delicious and creamy. The servings are big and flavorful. I got the chicken fried steak with gravy!! Very flavorful and very big! Prices are fair which is a plus. I also did try their spicy Bloody Mary it was delicious.

The locals highly recommend Carvers for their burgers. However, everything on their menu looks good. The service was prompt and friendly. The nachos took up just about half the table. That’s a sharable item. The burgers were good! I was craving a good burger, and this one hit the spot! The environment was a bit chilly. It was cooler outside, so maybe that’s a me problem. Their onion rings are an A+! Bring your family/ friends and enjoy!

The Carver Hangar always has large portions and fair prices… Better than fair actually. The food is tasty and the service is friendly. I have been coming here for a long time and will continue to do so. It is a great spot for food all year round. Whether you’re coming down from a snow day on the mountain or a day on the water in the summer. The Carver Hangar has what your tummy wants.
Hubs got the Jumbo Chili Burger, Middle got the Spaghetti, Little got the kid’s chicken strips and I got the BLT.
My only ever complaint is that it can be a little noisy here because it’s always so busy.

Came here for breakfast and first impressions walking in, it felt inviting and looked like a fun place. But we walked in and waited about 15 minutes to be seated without one person acknowledging us, no greeting, no eye contact, nothing. It was only when we decided to leave, that someone said they were just about to seat us. Well how would we have known since no one ever spoke to us. We decided to stay at that point and I will say, the food was good. It did however take quite a while for the waitress to take our order. Overall I’d give this place 2 stars. Next time at least acknowledge customers and don’t ignore them. Won’t be back.

Have not had the pleasure of visiting in a few years. However the place is just as I remembered. Great food, service, and all around good time. The burgers are generous at 1/3 lb for a single with all the toppings. Bathroom was clean, and the service was quick and delicious. Consider a stop if your in town.

Have been going to this place for quite a while. The food is very inconsistent. There seems to be no management. Got a pizza to go. It was absolutely pathetic. I’ve had frozen pizzas that are far superior to this. No sauce no cheese. Asked for extra crispy and it’s limp and soggy. I would not recommend the carver hanger.

So the only reason for the 4 stars is it was our first time here and I just had the chicken strips and shrimp which were delicious. We will definitely be back and try out some other items on the menu. Everything was great from service to the price of the food.
