My husband and I have been here a few times and its always been a good time. We went a few days ago and the man working greeted us warmly and gave us time to look and decide what we wanted with zero pressure. Our order was accurate and tasted great, just like the few things we picked out from the freezer. This will be our go to for ice cream, it was perfect!

The two employees we encountered are so rude. One of the woman employees (Hispanic and short appearing) does not even speak and gives you the biggest attitude.

Been craving carvel a bunch this summer and coming here. I noticed as weird, but never really gave a second thought to the fact that the servers will very quickly push the buttons on the card machine for you. This happened Every time I went. I just happened to be looking at the machine this time when they did it again and i noticed that they are VERY QUICKLY pressing the buttons and including a 25% tip!!!! I Would never have noticed if I hadn’t been looking at the screen at the exact moment. They had it timed so perfectly the screen barely flashed.
The servers should NOT be touching the card machine!
This was not a one time event. It happened at least 10 times this summer and with multiple different servers.

Terrible service this last month. Sloppy ice cream sundaes that leak in the bag. They have young women with aggressive attitudes working there pretending to be the manager. Plus it is set back in a very dark area. The parking is tough too. Sad. That was our go to location but will no longer be.

Came from out of town, and loved this brand ice cream place the first time I came to NY. But this store was closer to my hotel. We were served by young looking kids who didn’t didn’t come off as friendly and didn’t care to explain questions we had at the time and when asked for a sample the girl didn’t look like she wanted to do more than get our orders and get us out the store. We were kind, but the boy just looked frustrated. Anyways hope it was just a bad night for them, but not interested in returning to this store Iin the future.
