Ordered a cake 48 hours in advance for pick up after noon. Arrived at 2:45, cake was not complete. The woman said she didn’t know what I wanted because the order form the employee filled out wasn’t clear. My
Phone number was on the order form, I should have been contacted – and this was not a specialized cake, it was something on the Carvel website. She put fudge on top and told me she could put it in the freezer for a few.. as if the hot fudge wasn’t going to be melting the ice cream beneath when I left. In addition, the price was wrong and she was insisting it wasn’t. Went up the street to Bayport and selected a cake out of the case which was also much larger than what Sayville had and it was $1 cheaper. Take your business elsewhere.

My kids have allergies. I just asked to see the ingredients on the one icecream flavor to make sure there wasn’t anything they couldn’t have. They refused to show me the ingredients.

As soon as another customer shows up, staff gets rude, irritated and rushes you if you don’t “hurry up and buy “ they only care about “the next “ customer for about 30 second as soon as you pay , they push you to the side similar to a sushi/Chinese restaurant, they are ready to rush you out. It’s ice cream . You are better going to Flo’s at blue point cheaper, better atmosphere

I only gave 3 Starrs for the SERVICE! Which was really good. BUT the ice cream was horrible. I got a vanilla icream cone, and it was dripping all over the place. I am not sure if the temperature for the ice cream machine was off or what. Secondly, behind the register smelled like wet dog. It smelled like someone used an old mop to clean the floor, which smelled horrible. There was food and crumbs, dirt which was very visible to the public….. I took pictures of it. But sadly I won’t be coming here again. If the place is not clean, I’m not eating here.

My husband and I went to Sayville carvel. My vanilla ice cream had no flavor. He ordered a cookies and cream, had no cookies and no flavor. We definitely will not be going back to this Carvel.

I go to this spot all the time, here’s a warning… watch the amount of ice cream they put in the cup. Constantly shortage of ice cream. Always looks full and when you get home it melts down to half a cup. $10.00 every time! FILL UP THE CUP!!!!!! When I was in school I worked at a carvel store in sheepshead bay for two years. The owner would grab the cup and add more ice cream if she thought it wasn’t full . Sorry about the bad reviews, but stop robbing the customer. And by the way, the owner never responds to a review good or bad. It’s a shame because the son does a great job he’s friendly courteous and never shorts me. The mom (owner) never smiles, says thanks, hello, and she doesn’t train her carvel team members at all

I would give no stars if I could. The woman behind the counter needs a serious attitude adjustment. She is rude and gets nasty if you question the bill. She screws up whatever order you give her and has an attitude when you correct her on what you originally ordered. My 7 year old son was looking in the showcases and she had the nerve to tell me to get him away when he was doing nothing but looking in. There are other Carvel stores with much better customer service and better people running it than to go back there.

I went into the shop and was not greeted by either two associates. The couple behind me was greeted immediately upon entry. I was not asked if I needed assistance with the cake order I wanted, but again they helped the same two patrons who came in behind me. I would give negative stars if I could. I walked out and refuse to spend my money at poorly run establishment.
