The owner himself helped me pick out a cake for my granddaughter’s birthday as I had no idea what I was doing. I gave him an idea of what I wanted and was unsure of what I get. This cake is beautiful! I am sure it’s going to taste as good as it looks, but I’m going to be sad cutting into it. Thank you for helping to make this day super special!!!

I stopped in for ice cream, and my card kept getting declined, despite there being plenty of money on it. I kept asking the girls to scan the card at the top of the POS machine, and they kept telling me they cannot scan the card until the card was entered into the machine three times. I have never encountered this before.
I really think there is a mistake, because the scan option was implemented to protect consumers from having to enter or swipe their cards at a POS machine. I never scan my card at retail establishments anymore; I always scan my card at the top of the machine, and my payment is always accepted. I am never told I need to enter my card three times before scanning.
It ends up some lovely woman paid for my ice cream anyway, which I am highly appreciative of.

I loved coming here! Everyone was so lovely especially Hailey came up ordered my shake normal not extra thick lol then two minutes later I was outa there. Love this carvel definitely coming back!!

Unfortunately, while I love this Carvel, they do business with UberEats who ghosted my order leaving me with no delivery and having to call AmEx on UberEats due to a terrible driver. I hope Carvel will use this as a reason to dissociate with UberEats.
Update, changed to 4 stars, this Carvel is very good, unfair to blame them for terrible UberEats experience.

Just went to this Carvel with two friends a minute ago. When we entered the store I noticed the lone worker doing nothing leaning on the counter. He seemed bothered by the presence of customers & gave an attitude when asked how many scoops came in the medium and nearly became irate when she asked for sprinkles. After their transaction I asked to sample a flavor before I got it & he proceeded to tell me to hold on & then starts to make ice cream for a woman with her kids!! Really don’t help the one guy who’s been waiting five minutes in the atrocity you call an eatery before they even entered, nonetheless I’m getting one item versus multiple items. I just left, the place was filthy, not from just a busy day of ice cream, and when someone has an attitude like that about work you know you’re not receiving a quality product. Save yourself the grief & food borne illness & go to Centereach they’re clean and professional. One star is too generous! !

I ordered a small cup of ice cream with sprinkles and a small vanilla ice cream soda, the young girl took an open can of seltzer ,emptied it into the cup with ice cream, mixed it up , and it sucked!! The soda was FLAT !!! And she charged me $ 12.00. The seltzer water should be on tap !!!!! My money does not come easy, and I refuse to throw it away !!! I was disappointed!!!!

Always a good choice! Living in N.C. I cant get Carvel anymore. Anytime in N.Y. it’s a must. Love the chocolate and Weds. For BOGO sundaes. Rich, creamy and refreshing, nuff said!
