Initially I thought it was a regular cake shop, but they serve only ice cream cakes.
But they do have some unique designed ice cream cakes and also sells small ice creams.

The best Carvel in the area ! What makes it the best is that they definitely have the friendliest staff. And they keep the place super clean. I take my daughter there at least once a week after her gymnastics class and on more than one occasion have been shown appreciation for our loyalty.

I am a customer who will frequent this Carvel because the staff is usually nice and friendly. I went tonight with my three children to get the $.90 ice cream cones. When we entered, there was one person behind us and we let them go in front because we were making up our choices. When It was one of my children ordered and paid with his money. The other one was making the decision on what to buy. A worker in his late 50s with a potbelly came out and yelled at us for being there for 20 minutes and they needed to help others. My son was extremely upset and ended up leaving. He had no patience for children with disabilities and who need to take their time making choices. I highly recommend they rethink how they speak to customers with invisible disabilities. Unfortunately, you just lost A customer.

I did not spend much time in store but the older gentleman who attended to me was super helpful. He made suggestions for best results before serving and offered to decorate the cake further for us.
The cake was as I remembered and I was transported back to my childhood and savoured each mouthful.
Carvel has my heart!

Hands down the best Carvel I have ever been too. The owner is so nice and friendly and loves seeing people happy enjoying their ice cream treats. Prepackaged treats are always freshly made and the cakes can be made to order with whatever flavors and filling you’d like. I love this place and it is the go to whenever the kids are in the mood for ice cream. Thank you for being such a great part of the neighborhood!

When I moved to Virginia nearly 8 years ago, there was one Carvel store, but unfortunately for me, it closed soon after. I recently took my first trip to NY since my move, and chocolate Carvel was high on my list of things I needed.
The owner of this store is very, very nice. He has the full line of Carvel products served up in a covid-safe system. Other staff members who served me were just as friendly, professional, and careful. In the 4 days I stayed nearby, I visited 6 times. I left happy each time.

Not your typical Carvel! For the ice cream, sure, but the staff could not be a nicer group of people. Unbelievably nice and professional. From the attention to detail on the orders to the polite smiles and positive vibes. The people on this staff could work in a Michelin star restaurant…

Not a usual fan of Carvel but my family likes the BOGO Sundae special they run. This shop was run by a really pleasant and upbeat guy at the take out window even past 9pm when they close soon after. The vanilla milkshake was alittle too thick for me so I had to eat it like regular ice cream but it was good nonetheless for the price paid . Might give Carvel another try in the future .
