This is our family’s local pizzeria. The food is really good and they’re consistent. We usually order a pepperoni Sicilian. We’ve tried all the pizzerias with in the wading river and Rocky Point are and we feel, their red sauce is the best. It’s flavorful, gentle, and not salty; like home made sauce. Really good.

Every time I bring my girlfriend and/or her kids we have an exceptional experience. Her and I went once just before closing and they were willing to stay late and accommodate us. Instead of putting them out, we decided to take it home. Our waitress gave us each a glass of wine on the house. My beautiful girlfriend and I are definitely foodies, and this is definitely a place to go to get exceptional itialian food. Way above par and not the usual stereotypical fare. High end food, with high end service and wine to boot. Plus they put up with the demon children. All in all an amazing place and I’d recommend it to anyone.

We are long time customers. Last night we ordered one pie at 6:00 and it got delivered at 7:30 pm and it was ICE COLD. I called to complain this morning and was told by the “ manager” that she was very sorry but they were very busy last night. She did not offer a replacement pie. As a self-employed business woman, I find this bad business and unacceptable! Time to try out a new pizza place. Fortunately, there are pizza places in every shopping center! Goodbye Carusos Pizza in Rocky Point!

Not the best customer service, everytime I come in with my wife they take her order and walk away without asking me what I want. It has happened the past 4 to 5 times now. The staff doesn’t pay much attention either and usually messes up the order. It was definitely better a couple of years ago. Not sure what happened. I wouldn’t recommend eating here.

Was there for a dinner with my wife, four daughters and their three boyfriends. If you don’t like Italian food, then you shouldn’t be dining at Caruso’s. However, if you do there are few places, if any, in our local area that provide a better dining experience for the price. Food was excellent all around.

I ordered the Linguini Carbonara and requested the pasta cooked ‘al dente’ and it was served cooked ‘al dente’ so that made me a happy camper. Some grated parmesan cheese added to the top gave it just the extra saltiness it needed. Others ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Spaghetti with clams in white sauce and Macaroni with Penne sauce. No complaints from anyone re the food which was served hot and with fresh ingredients. I might add this place is also my eldest daughter and her fiancée’s favorite place for Italian dining (Macaroni with Penne Sauce.)

Wait staff extremely friendly but had one or two mix ups with the orders although they were dealt with professionally and promptly. The Peach Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream I had for dessert was a little sub-par, though. I’m not a dessert expert but I felt it lacked (peach) flavor although the ice cream seemed to be a good brand.

The dining room is roomy enough to seat a fairly large party comfortably, is simply decorated and not too hot or cold. In Summer, though, you have to sit on the pizza parlor side or risk being frozen by the vents above which shoot cold air directly onto the tables at the other side of the room (parking lot side.) The paintings that covered the inside wall the last time I was there are now gone. I think that is a good thing as they’d been up there for over a year with their sale prices and I don’t think any were ever sold. I hope the artist has found another outlet, I felt bad for all the work put in and (apparently) no sales.

Food is very bland and our server was rude. I cannot understand how this place is getting good reviews. Everyone I have spoken to has had the same experience. This is not authentic Italian food, it’s more like Olive Garden.

Don’t bother with the pizza it’s the worst in town.

Great pizza but…..
How hard can it be to deliver a pizza in a timely fashion. Apparently it is impossible here.
Called in a pizza for delivery and was told 35 minutes. 1hour 45 minutes later pizza still not here. Finally just under 2 hrs Danny the driver shows up. Apologized and gave a credit for a not a week later tried again. Told 35 to45 minutes. 2hrs later and another credit.
Tried tonight. Told 35 to 45 minutes. An hour and 15 minutes later i call and am told sorry. Dont know what happened 20 minutes ot will be there but we can give you a free soda.
I guess it is back to pompei pizzeria. I have to pick it up but thery are always ready when they say and i can always get a pizza ordered, go pick it up, drive home and eat in less than 50 minutes.
Too bad

The Chef is really good at this establishment and for this reason, we have returned for the Pork Scallopine
with gnocci. The desserts are equally sublime.
A weak link is the lack of restaurant knowledge. Front staff should be off cellphones and studing the menu if they lack knowledge, thereof. I ordered an Irish coffee and I was told she did not know how to make it. There was way too little liquor in the drink. The waitress was very good. There was a dispute over the amount of cash I gave the cashier. In the future, the cashier needs to place the money on the top of the register and allocate change, accordingly. This little place has so much promise, with a few necessary tweeks. The waitess needs to have knowledge of drinks.
