Nico’s Pizza is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with warmth and hospitality by the friendly staff. The place exudes a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. Star of the show – the pizza! Each slice is a heavenly combination of fresh ingredients and flavorful sauce, cooked to perfection. And if you’re craving something sweet, their shakes are a must-try, offering a creamy and indulgent treat. Their wings are crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor, making them the ideal accompaniment to your pizza feast. Overall, Nico’s Pizza ticks all the boxes for a fantastic dining experience – great food, friendly staff, and a cozy ambiance. Highly recommended!

We went for dinner and stayed to dine in very cool games for kids FREE and seating was good enough for our family of four. The pizza was very fresh excellent flavor, and we will be going back for sure. Good pricing as well.

I live in the neighborhood and saw that Nico’s, now Cartoon, had changed hands again. I have tried pizza from here a handful of times over the last few years. When it initially opened, I thought the pizza was reasonable and good. I went back two times maybe 6-9 months ago and honestly the pizza was the equivalent low end of frozen pizza. This week I chanced it again and was blown away. I ordered a simple 3 topping pizza that was prepared by Jay right in front of me. The ingredients looked fresh, the dough was worked by hand, the toppings were liberal, and the final product came out amazing. Brought it home and it was delicious. Kid friendly with video games. Interesting menu items. BYOB. While I was there, I talked to Jay the entire time my pizza was cooking and I’m now a huge fan invested in his success. Why? Well, you’ll have to stop in to chat, order something, and see for yourself.

Kids wanted pizza and I wanted something new. This family owned restaurant is quaint and cozy. Kids were playing outside and staff and other customers were very welcoming.

The food was perfect. The gluten free pizza with my byob pineapple beer really hit the spot. Our au pair had the wings and my kids didn’t finish the pizza because it was so large. That’s a plus considering they usually demolish two pizzas.

The owner introduced herself which made the experience more personal and that was a very nice touch. We live close by and will definitely make another stop soon.

Nicos, a nice slice of Italian pizza in San Antonio!

I had to edit the review to say that I just looked at the pictures associated with this place; Comparably, our pizzas look like they were pre-made from somewhere compared to the pics.

Spent 65 dollars for two pizzas and cheese bread. The margarita was extra (look at the picture) and the crust was flavorless cardboard and the cheese seemed like it had been sitting for an hour. The other was a pepperoni – note the pepperoni density from the picture. We saw all the good reviews which is why we tried it but now I’m seriously wondering if the reviews were paid for or we came on an off night… a really off night. There has never been so much unanimity in my family of six until we all expressed our disdain for this food. 65 dollars… my wife’s first idea was to open a pizza place, but if this was our bar we may not have any friends.

Ordered pepperoni pizza for pick-up and I got a large, cheesy, plenty of pepperoni pizza with a good thin crust. Prices were reasonable, staff were nice and establishment was clean. Happy with the experience!

I wanna be understanding, but I placed an order online for a large tikka pizza which was $30 in total and arrived and the place was closed. Now the front did say there was a family emergency, but I just don’t know if I can be refunded or who to reach out for, for reimbursement. Hope everything is fine with the family, just putting this review here for that.

Excellent customer service, delicious food, and veteran owned. Typical New York style pizza, pizza by the slice, and a large cheese is roughly $20. Closed Sunday (learn from my mistake).
