I dined here a few times now and the food is always delicious. The pulled pork, pulled chicken, beef brisket, and rotisserie chicken were all amazing. You will also like the green beans, as well as the baked beans. So good!

After our first visit, we couldn’t stop thinking about the food — it’s great!! We enjoy eating at various BBQ places in the region, but having eaten here several times now, CarterQue keeps drawing us back! Highly recommend the ribs, pulled pork sandwich, BBQ egg rolls, potato salad, and the CarterQue burger — which is amazing! The friendly staff make us feel welcome each and every time. They have a nice outdoor patio area for dining in good weather and a fun, cheery interior with tables or booths. They also have one of the very best sound tracks playing! There’s great weekday and weekend specials as well. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and hungry!

Ordered online takeout while traveling through. Supposed to be beans and Mac and cheese as sides. Get home and realize they weren’t in bag. Chicken wings were good, ribs ok. Cornbread was excellent They have no problem with tip coming up when you checkout. One would think order could be packaged correctly. That seems like a simple task.

We came here on a Friday night and had a great meal! If you like fried pickles, this is the place for you. I also really enjoyed the smoked Turkey. Everything that was ordered came out quickly and smelled amazing. They close at 8 so take that into consideration.

We love BBQ so we stopped by CarterQue for the first time for Saturday lunch. It turned out to be an excellent choice with great food along with great service. The prices are moderate, and there are a lot of choices on the menu.

The only “problem” was parking was a bit.. cramped..? It was a bit weird on the back/one side of the building. But it really wasn’t an issue ♀️

Me and my family went here today for a family outing I brought my wife with me and she now loves it just as much as we do. The food is amazing the brisket is so tender. The service is fast and efficient. They are very polite. And they stay on top of us. It wasn’t too busy when we were there. But I’m sure it does get busy. I would definitely drive 47 minutes any day for this meal.

I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was huge had to be well over a pound of meat on the sandwich.
Along with the side of hush puppies and coleslaw on top absolutely delicious I highly recommend it.

Dined In around 2 pm on a Friday. Was warmly greeted and handed off to my server, Chelsea. She was attentive and friendly, bringing my drink to me quickly. She then took my order after answering a couple of questions about the menu. I selected Brisket and Smoked Turkey with Cole Slaw and Baked Beans. I also selected the Sweet & Tangy BBQ sauce, one of 4 possible sauces. The meal arrived quickly. The brisket presented an observable smoke ring, was moist and trimmed lean. The Smoked Turkey was sliced a bit thin for my liking but was tender and not overcooked. The baked beans were unremarkable. I would suggest maybe adding some cubed bacon or brisket. The Cole Slaw was typical MD style with a pleasant taste, not overly sweet. The BBQ was slightly thin/runny with an unremarkable flavor. Next time, I will try the Blackberry BBQ, I have been told it is very good. Overall, a good experience. Clean restaurant, great service, and decent pricing.

Fantastic BBQ. The Black Raspberry sauce is incredible. Loaded tater tots are amazing and the pulled pork and brisket are tender and tasty. All the food here is awesome! Quick service too.
