Reviews
Let me start this review the only honest way possible: this place tested my patience… and then absolutely bodied my taste buds.
So yes — $1.49 tacos on grand opening day. TikTok hyped it. Coconut Creek showed up like it was a Beyoncé concert. The lines were INSANE. I’m talking “is there a hurricane coming?” level crowds. We arrived at 6:20 PM, feeling confident. Bold. Optimistic.
We didn’t get our food until after 8:20 PM.
Two. Full. Hours.
At first, I was not happy. I was doing mental math like: “I could’ve grilled at home, eaten twice, taken a nap, and still had time to complain.”
But then… the food arrived.
And suddenly… I FORGAVE EVERYTHING.
Tacos al pastor? ABSOLUTE FIRE. Juicy, flavorful, straight-up disrespectful to bland tacos everywhere.
Steak tacos? On point. Perfectly seasoned.
Chorizo? Dangerous. The kind that makes you order “just one more” about six times.
Now… let’s address the elephant (or cow?) in the room.
My son, for reasons known only to him and his ancestors, ordered tongue tacos . I judged. Hard. I said things I can’t repeat here.
Then I tried it.
I take it all back.
That taco humbled me.
The place itself? Straight-up hole-in-the-wall vibes, and I mean that as the highest compliment. No frills, no nonsense, just tacos and chaos — the way God intended.
And just when you think the night can’t get better… a mariachi group casually shows up like, “Yeah, we do this.” Instant party. Instant vibe upgrade. Suddenly the two-hour wait felt like part of the experience.
Final Verdict:
Yes, the wait was long.
Yes, the lines were wild.
But it was a grand opening, the prices were criminally low, and the food absolutely delivered.
Pro tip: Tacos are $2 for the rest of the week, so do yourself a favor and GO — just maybe not during peak TikTok hours
Would I go back?
Absolutely.
Would I wait two hours again?
…Ask me after another pastor taco
Our server, Gaovanna was so sweet and everyone here was so nice, we ordered for takeout but ended up staying because the atmosphere is so lowkey but so homey and the food looked too good to wait till we got home!!
DEFINITELY GO HERE!!!!! Honestly have never been treated nicer at a restaurant!!
The decor was a little basic when I went but hey, I got for the food! The tacos and meat were juicy and flavorful.
