Great quaint spot in PA scenenic mountains and old American charm establishment our server Ashley was great and Richard the Bartender is very attentive to making drinks and interacting with customers locals are very friendly and charming . Food was good seafood variety is Good just the crab legs needed little bit more seasoning. But overall nice place. If you ever visit Scottdale PA step in .

Talked with someone on Facebook and explained we come just for the crab legs. No one explained it’s not all you can eat crab legs but they control how many you get at the end of the line. We left after driving an hour to get there. Staff is friendly but in my world it’s very misleading and rude of them to say it’s all you can eat vs the little they allow you each trip. I even explained ahead of time what I was coming for. Had they been honest might have done lunch or regular menu one day but now wouldn’t return after having to walk out 2 min after arriving. The owner has since replied. If you have people staying for hours because you give them so little each trip they must not have a life outside of your buffet. It’s not all you can eat it’s all you allow unless someone wants to make 20 trips to the buffet. If you see waste then you cut that person off to inconvenience every guest for 20 years is not acceptable. It’s not all you can eat it’s all you can walk to the buffet. I as well spoke to no one on the phone I responded on Facebook and nothing was said when I explained we come just for the crab legs no one said it was a small cluster per trip.

The codzilla was excellent. However, the stuffed chix breast was not. The chix tasted rubbery and the stuffing was really sparse. The meal wasn’t very hot either. We were in the dining area which was fine and there was a party of some sort with a group of men in the bar area. The language coming from there wasn’t pleasant to the ears. Maybe we will come back to a better all around experience

On our trip to the area we ate here twice. The first time we ate in and everything was great. Our food was good, our drinks were good and the service was awesome. The second time we got take out and once again the food was good. The place is huge inside and the staff all seemed friendly. They had some live music in the other room and a sea food buffet the day we ate in. They day we got take out they had an Italian buffet. If you are in the area and are looking for a nice place to eat and get a few drinks, then Carson’s is the perfect place.

To preference we are kind of pizza snobs. Well Carsons did not disappoint! Let’s start with PRICE, WE PAID $32.31 and we had enough food for at least 6 people. We went to order pizza before and learned they only make their pizza on certain days, I believe it’s Thursday-Sunday. Today is Sunday and we put in an online order to pick up at their convenient drive thru window. So back to the FOOD… I give this pizza an 8/10. The only reason it’s not rated higher is because I’d like to be cooked a tad more to get a crisper bottom and have the cheese completely melted. The sauce on this pizza is absolutely a 10/10! The Pepperoni is a 10/10! The dough was so good, we just like ours a little crisper. The cheese, even though to the eye didn’t look completely melted was AMAZING! I will post below in the photos the cheese mixture that we chose because you can chose other options, which I’m excited to also try. Oh and we also got a basket of homemade chips with a side of ranch and they were also fantastic, another 8/10. The pizzas we got were mediums/9 cut with Spanky Original and Spanky Deluxe Cheeses.

This place is great! The food was perfect! The wife had the Italian Grilled sandwich, and I had the Beef Tenderloin Wrap! The wrap was perfect, order it rare, came out medium rare, the meat quality was top-notch! The fries were fantastic too! There was a dessert room showcasing the desserts! If you’re into that sort of thing. They even have a rewards program. The only reason I couldn’t give this place 5 stars is because they had like 3 white claws but no IPAs. Tavern is in the name, which suggests beer, not seltzers. But the lager I had was fresh from the tap!

I should add that the price is reflective of the seafood buffet on Friday nights. We will be back for Italian night and Sunday brunch!! It is a great spot for your party size, no matter how big or small!

Solid place all around. Wings are beyond excellent. The raging Cajun chicken sandwich is ok, the chicken filet was on the dry side. The feta Mac n cheese is decent, although it doesn’t taste like there is any feta actually in it. The Italian Hoagie is massive and has ample meat. The pierogie appetizer is disappointing – its boiled Mrs. T’s with some butter and red onion – tastes good, but for the money, I would expect something more. I will be back for sure.

The Codzilla is AMAZING! 1lb of fish! And their buffets are so good! This place rocks! They have FREE bloody Mary’s & Mimosas on Sundays!!! *Edited: we eat here regularly and I had their salmon harvest salad today, it might be the BEST salad I’ve eaten IN MY LIFE. Its grilled salmon on bed of lettuce, surrounded by: bacon, mandarin oranges, apples, cranberries, feta cheese and roasted walnuts. I had it with raspberry vinaigrette, and BOY LET ME TELL YOU!! #UNREAL. It’s a MUST TRY. (Also their BLT has a HALF POUND of bacon!)
