Carson’s is an epic meal experience!! The ribs, prime rib, brisket and pork chop were all insanely delicious – top notch quality and flavor! Our waitress Heather was the best, so welcoming and helpful, she made the night extra special. My cousin was looking for the best prime rib in Chicago for our special family occasion and boy did Carson’s deliver. My cousin was in meat heaven, she said it was the best. The sides were also so tasty, from the double baked potato to the cream spinach. And our Manhattans were so good too. The entire meal was so special, a moment we won’t forget. I can’t recommend Carson’s enough, go eat there now!!

Staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a great vibe and location. I started with the legendary Caesar and it lives up to its name. The homemade dressing was amazing and best Caesar I’ve ever had! The pulled pork sandwich was juicy and the BBQ sauce was delicious. The au gratin potatoes were the perfect mix of creamy with a crunch top. Would highly recommended!

The restaurant has a beautiful setting right by the river — the view alone makes it worth a visit, especially around sunset. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the evening. Service was excellent and timely.

The only downside was the ribs — they looked great but were a bit disappointing in flavor and tenderness compared to the rest of the meal. However, everything else was well-prepared, and the atmosphere more than made up for it.

Overall, a great place to relax, enjoy good service, and take in the river view. I’d definitely come back, maybe just try a different entrée next time.

The food and service was top notch. Really nothing to complain about. It was easy to get a table. (No wait) It is a little pricey, but it’s expected in Chicago. It’s interesting to checkout all the celebrity photos on the wall. Overall a great experience.

Carson’s Ribs Prime Steaks was absolutely fantastic!
Our server, Nancy was outstanding. The food was DELICIOUS !!! From the appetizer to the salad and main courses.
The prime rib steak was superb. The Blackened Salmon was cooked to perfection.
One of the best cooked salmon I have ever had. Their baked potato was scrumptious .

Food is good, if a little expensive. Unfortunately, they can’t guarantee a well-done steak, and that was the main reason I went there. But the chicken sandwich was good, and the double baked potato delicious. They also have items not listed on the menu, like a steak sandwich and onion rings. Service is fast and friendly, and the space is beautiful.

We had Caron’s takeout, and it was extremely delicious. Their barbecue sauce is perfect – flavorful, acidic, and smooth. The ribs itself are great – on the chewy side and really delicious. The coleslaw is so great too, I recommend getting a large portion. The potatoes au gratin are heavenly, it’s certainly an indulgement but completely worth it. The cornbread is soft, sweet, and fluffy. Everything is truly to die for. I highly recommend a visit.

We stopped by here before a boat tour in Chicago, and the vibe was great! We sat at the bar since we were short on time and the table wait was about 10–15 minutes. The service was excellent super attentive and friendly.

We both ordered the BBQ marriage for $37, and let me tell you, the portions are not playing around. You definitely get a solid amount of food for the price. The only downside for me was the BBQ itself which is kind of the point of this place. I was hoping for a bit more flavor in the seasoning and sauce. I was expecting more tender ribs as well. It was just a bit too tough for my liking. To be fair, I’m a little biased because my dad’s BBQ has set the bar way too high (his ribs are unbeatable).

On the bright side, that salt-and-pepper-encrusted baked potato was fantastic I’d definitely recommend that side!

The place is spacious and pleasant. The host was very kind and helped us get a table. The food was delicious. The ribs had great flavor, although they were a bit tougher than what I’m used to. The barbecue chicken wings were also very tasty. Highly recommend the cornbread with butter — it was outstanding.

The downside was the service from our server. He didn’t offer any recommendations, showed no empathy toward the table, and never came by to check if we needed anything else. His interaction was limited to taking the order, bringing the food, bringing the check, and passing by three times to see if we were ready to pay. I think they should pay much more attention to customer service, as it would make the experience much more complete

I’m pretty pissed off right now. Been living in Chicago all my life and I didn’t know this  restaurant existed.  Steak & BBQ? Sign me up. Lol Decided to take my wife here for her birthday and she absolutely loved it! I love the decor, it’s right near the lake. (Ask for a window table  if available)  We started with a couple of drinks; I got a side bar, my wife got a “Blood Orange Paloma”. For appetizers We started with the “Homemade Cornbread” & “Chargrilled Mediterranean Shrimp” For entrees, my wife went with the  “BBQ In-Laws; and I went with the “BBQ Combo”. For sides we got the “Famous Au Gratin Potatoes” and “Ultimate Double Baked Potato” both came with coleslaw.

All the food was delicious. The BBQ sauce is sweet and has a nice kick to it. The coleslaw is delicious, it remind me of KFC’s but on steroids. The slab of ribs & pork chop juicy …cooked to perfection. Portions sizes were good. We didn’t even finish it all. The “Happy Birthday” menus was a nice touch…they also hit the wife with a birthday dessert.  Last but not least…the service was A1! Shout-out to our server Blake! He was cool as hell and very attentive, made our first time dining here real special. Ask for him…you can’t miss him, he’s like 8 ft tall.   All in all loved Carson’s and will be returning; eager to try more menu items.

PS. My big back ass ordered a second cornbread. #NoShame
