I get cravings for no other sandwich shop the way I get them for Carson St. Deli. The sandwiches are delicious, filling and they have great menu ideas. Extra points for having gluten free options and the music couldn’t be better in there.

A good, solid sandwich shop. The quality of the meat and the ingredients is definitely quite a bit higher than many of the other local delis and shops. However, the prices are also a little higher than usual, so it balances out. I really like that they have a build your own sandwich option, and that’s what I ordered. I made a sandwich with smoked Turkey and grilled chicken, ranch, provolone cheese, olives, and roasted red peppers all on a French baguette.
In terms of quality, definitely quite good. The olives and the peppers both felt fresh. The chicken wasn’t too stringy, although it was a little dry. The Turkey was tasty but it was a tad stringy. Decent meat portions. I would have wanted a bit more ranch as the sandwich was still dry. And the bread was definitely quality but I would have loved it more if it was toasted.
All in all, definitely a great sport for sandwiches. A tad expensive but higher in quality. My main criticism is to include more sauce.

I have had a lot of Italian sandwiches in my life but by far they have the best! I can’t wait to try more of their menu. They also have lots of different beers and ciders in the fridge so you can try out flavors without having to buy a whole case.

Solid sandwich shop in Southside. Quality has been consistent over the years. Sandwiches are pretty big for the price and you can also enjoy a craft beer! The roast beef with the horseradish sauce is one of my favorites!

Stopped for a late lunch on a Sunday. The bartender was very friendly and was quick to serve us. The food was great as they have a few vegetarian options. There are about 20 beers & ciders on tap and if you have trouble deciding they have flights available to try.

Carson street deli is amazing. Their food is absolutely amazing. Eveything is always fresh and made to order.
They have a TON of great local craft beer on tap, and a fridge with cans /bottles to make your own 6 pack.
If you have friends from out of town visit, bring them here. They will love you.
Veggie tip: the veggie burger is my go-to! It’s a blackbean southwest style with tomatoes, lettuce and honey mustard. I add red peppers and 15 pickles.
