The service was good. Our server was very attentive and polite. The food was good. You get a big portion. If you order breakfast, watch out if you order hash browns because they will take up most of your plate(they are good). They pancakes are so big they take up a whole plate. They are a little pricey. Their bathroom can use some work, not that clean and bad lighting (need updating).

The food was very good but the portions were outrageous! The prices are a little high but you get your monies worth. I only hope that if people can’t finish all of their food, (we couldn’t) that they take it home for later. The steak and eggs were very good and the grits were the cheesiest and most creamy grits ever and they alone could fill you up! Very good customer service but if you’re really hungry be patient when waiting to be seated. It’s worth it.

Carr’s was such a great restaurant to eat in. I shared a cinnamon roll and loaded tater tot dish with a friend, and it was more than enough food for the two of us. I will definitely be back to see what else I can try from the menu. Thank you for such a great experience.

Let me start by saying this, the wait was horrible, at least half an hour before we were seated, cause they were really busy, and another half hour before we got our food. This isn’t a complaint, it was so worth it. But if your not the type to be willing to wait, go somewhere else. Now that we got that out of the way, my god this food was amazing. The omelets we had were the size of a midsized Buick, and they gave you enough hash browns to feed the entire city of Newark, for the next two months. I got mine fully loaded with bacon cheese, onions and sour cream. The Denver omelet and the chicken fried steak omelet were both amazing. We took ours home, ate the left overs for dinner, and still have enough to have a lite breakfast tomorrow. Not that I ever need to eat again. I went home and took a 3 hour nap, and now My stomach is so full after breakfast AND dinner I am going back to bed. I been awake a grand total of like 5 hours today… Massssassive food coma, and well worth every bite.

Late review, just came out of a food coma from this place… I’ve never seen a breakfast plate like this. It was intimidating and beautiful all at once. I went after it, did not conquer it but gave it my all! Food was very good, nice atmosphere. They must go through more potatoes than Idaho can grow with the size of the hashbrowns.

My family loves having breakfast at Carr’s. Delicious, home-style cooked meals that are humongous! It takes about 2 days to eat the leftovers. The staff are friendly. The service is superb. You get the best bang for your buck here.
