Service is great! All staff are very friendly and attentive. We didn’t have to wait long for a table on a Sunday, late morning. Maybe about 15 minutes. Our drinks were always full, food came out piping hot, and all staff ensured we were satisfied. I don’t know if there are staff members dedicated to any one table as they all seemed to tag-team tending to everyone. However they do it, it’s a good system because if one person doesn’t notice something, someone else will. They seem to have each other’s backs pretty well!
Highly recommend this restaurant!
The food came out pretty slow for the place to not be very packed. I had the patty melt and a blueberry pancake. The patty melt was cooked well, bread toasted to perfection. The burger did not come with a sauce. Personally I like a thousand island sauce in my patty melts also the burger patty had no seasoning at all. The fries were delicious. The pancake was the star of the show in its enormous size nice and fluffy and airy. The pancake was awesome.
My coworkers got the Ruben which he said was okay. Nothing special as well as the omelette which was pretty good but the house fries were over cooked and had no seasoning at all. No salt no pepper no nothing.
Overall this isn’t a bad place to stop by but I felt their prices are kind of steep but the portions justify the pricing. I would come back and try other things in the menu but it would solely be out of the convent location.
a “King-Sized” man, but was unable to finish his meal – it was that huge!! He loved every bite, though. The hash browns were fluffy and light on the inside and crispy and lightly brown in the outside. The chicken fried steak was super delicious. I loved my breakfast burrito meal but also did not finish it ( and ended up eating the leftovers for two other meals at home). Wait stuff was very friendly and attentive. Prices are high but the quality is high and portions very generous, so we felt like it was a good value for the money. Highly recommend.
The food was phenomenal and bursting with flavor, but you’ll definitely need a game plan, and maybe a friend or two; to finish it all. The scale of the meal is just as impressive as the taste!
The interior is very tastefully decorated with a car and train theme. There were also pictures from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s along with license plates on the walls.
We were greeted and seated immediately. Both servers were friendly and attentive and gave all of the patrons equal attention.
Our food was hot and served quickly. I had the chicken fried steak with country potatoes and a homemade biscuit. It was huge and smothered in sausage gravy. The potatoes were hot and crisp and my biscuit was huge and relatively light. The gravy had a little bit too much black pepper for my taste. I don’t tend to suffer from indigestion but the pepper is definitely getting even a few hours later.
Ray had the Denver omelette with country potatoes and a biscuit. He had contemplated the waffle with strawberries and was shocked at the huge amount of strawberries on the waffle being delivered. I know he will have that next time. His omelette was huge, well stuffed with ingredients, and he was barely able to eat half. His country potatoes were slightly overfried so he wasn’t too thrilled with them. He was quite happy with his biscuit.
The service was excellent. Not once did we have to ask for coffee or water.
Despite those small hiccups, we will definitely be back for another meal. I was watching meals being served to other tables. I made mental notes for future visits.
