The flavors are good, and there is lots of meat and veggies in the bánh mi. The jalapeños were a bit spicy, but it was okay and tolerable. The prices are good and affordable. The wrapping paper does get a bit oily, and falls apart if you don’t eat right away.

I’ve been coming to Carrot & Daikon for a while now and it’s easily my favorite bánh mì spot in town. The bread has that perfect crackly crust, and the fillings always taste fresh and balanced. My top two are the crispy pork belly and the grilled pork. The pork belly has that great crunch with just enough richness, and the grilled pork is savory and packed with flavor. Both are solid every single time.
I also love stopping by in the morning for their Vietnamese coffee. It’s strong, bold, and exactly what I need to start the day. Pair it with the egg and spam sandwich and you’re set. It’s simple but so satisfying.

Lee’s sandwich was here before and it was hard for me to buy the sandwich as they over price. I always felt hungry after one sandwich. But now Carrot and Daikon is here the sandwich is wonderful. Generous portions for the price. I had three meals from what I bought. Will come back again.

The cashier Alan or Alen is always friendly and has excellent customer service. He knows exactly what I want. He is very knowledgeable of the menu and explains the items and detail. His smile permiates with a “welcome come in” . The food is good but if it wasn’t for him and his customer service I would not come back. I suggest he gets treated a little bit better than what I saw because I just witnessed and older woman yelling at him. Number one it’s against the law you can’t talk to your employees like that. Just because he’s younger and probably doesn’t know the law doesn’t mean you could treat him like that. Believe me if it wasn’t for him I would not be coming back to your establishment. It doesn’t matter how good the food is if the customer service sucks or we see you treat your employees unfairly we will not go back. Who wants to eat and see young cashiers getting hollered at by a older Asian?

Curry Tofu Bahn mi is so good! Crispy bun, tasty curry, yum! Typically 15min wait so call ahead if you’re in a hurry. Food is fresh, if you need a grab and go plenty of fast food places although this place is definitely worth the wait!

Super picky when it comes to my Vietnamese breakfast sandwich spot. Would have to travel all the way to Westminster and absolutely not a fan of the franchise Lees Sandwich spots. Came here and was blown away with the flavors. Definitely my new spot before heading into work. Thank you to the staff and cook for an amazing breakfast.

This was my first time visiting the Corona, California location. But my significant other had come to purchase the sandwiches from here a few times already. These sandwiches are very addicting with the unique flavors that cannot be forgotten. It kept us coming back for more. My significant other always purchased 8+ sandwiches every other visit. Scrumptious char siu sandwich with a matcha passion flavor beverage… My favorite go to banh mi sandwich spot!!! ❤️ Overall, I can never get over their variety of unique flavors banh mi sandwiches and drinks…!! I always get more than one sandwich a visit. We eat at least 4-5 sandwiches per person within a 2-3 day time frame. Always buying extra for later in the week. A must try! Can be a bit pricey but well worth it. I was a bit disappointed that the restroom had no hand soap to wash your hand before and after eating. But they did wear gloves while preparing our food and drinks. I hope they still wash their hands inside the kitchen area. I didn’t get sick or anything that day but hand soap for customers and employees is a must so others will not become sick and spread germs to the public community. PLEASE REFILL YOUR HAND SOAP DISPENSER!! I want to give them five stars but they did not have hand soap which made me question how clean their kitchen and equipment are. I totally recommend this franchise variety of food flavors banh mi sandwiches but sanitary needs improvement. It’s very questionable about how sanitary their food is now.
