Best Indian cuisine in a unique Art Deco setting We source all of our fish, meat, poultry, herbs and vegetables locally. Our delicious dishes are cooked to order with passion by our chefs who want you to enjoy the finest cuisine and their attention to detail. Our cooking methods are carefully adopted and all of our meat is grilled, barbequed or steamed. We are passionate about our food provenance and wherever possible buy from local sources and suppliers. For example our fish comes from Gourdon, our meat from the Cairngorms and we are proud to have Six Degrees North as one of our drink suppliers. We even grow our own herbs in the restaurants own herb garden.

Quite simply the best Indian Meal we’ve ever had. So tasty – perfect level of heat and flavour. Fantastic service in a lovely art deco surrounding. Will definitely return – can’t believe we’ve missed out on this place for years !

First time trying Carron to Mumbai and we weren’t disappointed. The menu was fully explained to us including all the variations we could order. The food was so good and really full of fresh flavours which we hadn’t tried before. The portion sizes were huge and we couldn’t finish our mains which is very unusual for us. The building itself is very interesting with the Art Deco style and awesome paint colours.

Recently moved to Stoney and this place has become our new favourite,
Went on a Sunday as a walk in of 4 adults and a 1 year old. Staff were attentive and professional, when my partner noticed that a dish from the takeaway menu wasn’t on the restaurant menu ( Honey Mango Chicken) the server calmly stated it was no problem, they could make anything, even a half portion of korma for my young son.
Starters and Mains were delicious, servers were fantastic and restaurant and settings were very clean. It has a great ambience, even when quiet.
Loved it so much I walked in a week later, just myself and my 1 year old, and again fantastic service and good food.
My only criticism really is the dessert options were limited, possibly because we went on a Sunday after a busy December weekend and stock was low.
They were average, not bad, but nothing like the exceptional starters and mains.
But definitely our favourite place in stoney

Straight up, best Indian food outside of Bradford. Been the last 2 night and both nights, we’ve left amazed at how good the food is. Well worth a ride out, staff are great too and they do takeaway.

Amazing food. Amazing staff. Great prices. Heard it was really good. It was better than that. The staff was top notch: felt like a five star hotel restaurant. The ambience was wonderful: classic decor, very restful yet upscale. I simply came with friends who liked it before and I’m sold. This is the place to eat dinner in Stoney if you are taking a day trip and love a good meal.

Amazing food with exceptionally good service. We had a friend’s birthday celebration yesterday evening and they gave birthday friend a bottle of prosecco and along with lemon cheese cake for the table. I could not believe how generous they were! Highly recommend for anyone.

I visited with my partner on Valentine’s day 24 & couldn’t fault the food or service as both we’re excellent. We had a special Valentine’s set menu and it was amazing! I’ve eaten here before a few times and the food has always been very good, but the lovely selection of sizzling starters with prosecco was a real treat, and the mains, coconut rice and garlic naan all delicious. We had to take pudding home as we were too full, but enjoyed the next day with a cup of tea! Orange cake was wonderful! We will be back soon. Thank you.

So good that we ate here twice in four days. Excellent customer service, very friendly staff, excellent food choices and quality. The art deco style of the restaurant makes for a really good atmosphere too. We’d happily go back next time in Stonehaven, definitely our No 1 choice in town.

We got dinner here tonight and it was delicious! It’s made fresh so it does take a little while to be prepared. The lamb was the most tender lamb I’ve ever had in a curry. The service was great, everyone was really nice. The interior furnishings are fantastic. It’s got a bit of a art deco vibe and the hallway leading from the bar to the restaurant is decorated like an old train. Very well done. I wish we were staying in Stonehaven longer so we could come back.
