If you are into diner-type restaurant, this is for you. Very old-timer setting, located right at the airport, family atmosphere. Nothing fancy on the menu, very basics but done well amd from scratch. Definitely try the pies, they are really good and made from scratch!

We haven’t been out to eat for a while so we decided to go out here. For one thing I ordered (pointed at it on the menu) the big salad with ham, egg etc… a house salad but I was brought a tiny salad that had maybe 2 pieces of lettuce, 1/4 of a small tomato and 1 egg slice that tiny pathetic “salad” was $5!!! Wow!?! Then we each ordered an expensive sandwich which was nothing special and they didn’t come with fries. A side of fries was $4 so I assumed it would be a big plate of fries and the 2 of us could split them but I was wrong it was just a small amount of fries and they put them around my sandwich, so we split them small amount of fries for $4! Not happy with that experience. And the room they put us in had a broken window.
Won’t be going here again.

Between our group we tried all the sides. No complaints on any! We flew into the airport hiked at the park next door then flew home. It was a fun adventure!!

Good food but I had VERY slow service. The reason was short staffing and a large crowd I believe. My waitress was very courteous and kind though despite being behind and very busy.

Awesome pie! I ordered individual slices of coconut cream, chocolate peanut butter, raspberry cream and cherry pie to go and the waitress couldn’t have been more patient and kind. The place has awesome decor pictured below and is a great fly in spot for food or dessert. I highly recommend trying them out via driving or flying.

Breakfast and bunch is your typical diner style, big tasty portions. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. But the best part of a visit to carroll county airport restaurant is the dessert. They make a wide variety of delicious homemade pies. If you visit make sure to order a slice or better yet, call 24 hrs in advance and order a whole pie. Worth it.
