We hosted our first LATIN POWER Women’s Galantine’s Brunch!!. We had an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service truly stood out. Our waiter, Jouo, was exceptional — attentive, patient, and incredibly accommodating. He took the time to make sure all of our requests were handled with care, which made such a difference, especially since we came in as a group of 19 women for a Latin brunch.
Hosting a large group is never easy, but the team made it feel seamless and welcoming. The atmosphere, service, and food came together perfectly, and it created a beautiful experience for our brunch. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place for group celebrations.

Stopped by Carro Café in Union City for lunch on Valentine’s Day and had a great time! The service was fast and smooth despite the holiday. We all ordered different Mofongos—the shrimp with garlic sauce, the shrimp with white sauce, and the chicken with white sauce. Everything was so good we couldn’t even decide which one was the winner!
The portions were very filling and the ambiance is great. It feels like a cool club but more relaxed, with big screens and good music. Perfect spot for a lively lunch!

This restaurant is def top 10 in New Jersey. Food, service and the decor is 5 stars. They have a decent parking space next door, but in busy days you want to get there early. Drinks are a little expensive but totally worth it. Def recommending this place to friends and family.

This place was awesome !! Definitely has all the 5 stars. I am not going to complain just pointing out that the food is a lot huge plates and tables are very small and somewhat uncomfortable.

The tick bacon and the octopus for appetizers and for the main dish I had a tomahawk steak that was enough for 4 people along with salad. I ordered a bottle of wine that is in the list of wines and there is not available . Then we ordered tiramisu tres leches and a chocolate fudge cake with cream which I add The Macallan 18 Year Old

I decided to give this town a chance, HUGE MISTAKE instead of going to Chart house, Morton’s, the palms, Del Frisco’s or even CH steakhouse! I know I Know I should’ve listened to the reviews never again! I have never experienced a more inexperienced server than today. Although he did try to be nice at the beginning Joao my server ended up messing up my birthday celebration!!! Got me in such a bad mood I was ready to leave mid everything. You need to train your staff better! If a menu says Bone In Rib Eye and I ask my server for IT from the very beginning before even ordering then HE MUST bring that out, and if the temperature is wrong hence what happened today I asked med rare and that thing didn’t have any charr was barely seared yes Black and Blue (rareeee) and no bone either so I asked him to bring what I had requested however he didn’t take the plate back and said he’d ask a manager first… 10 mins passed by, he came back with a menu asking me where did it stated it that Rib EYE steak was bone in… like what?? I THEN SHOWED HIM where and he said ohhh ohh I see now…Like are you serious?? Trying to argue with your guest when you clearly don’t know how to read!!???? He went away and came back 2 mins later that’s when I cut him off and asked for a manager mind you my bill came up to $800 with 3 adults and 2 children… nothing crazy and this server was acting like I was in the wrong?? On MY BIRTHDAY celebration, the manager stepped in after and cooked up that steak again, no bone again I gave up! Cooked med rare but no char again, same steak DRY NOW !!
Really ruined one of the nights that I barely have time to spend with my family, absolutely ridiculous, they tried to give me 3 complimentary desserts at the end, I don’t like sweets at all regardless, my son ate them because he’s little and I tried to calm down but instead of switching the server they kept him on the table, he went ahead and asked my kids if they wanted extra stuff … excuse you I AM the mother, rude inexperienced and disrespectful!! The cherry on top, this location is beautiful, the music show was nice, very nice wine list, I ordered Silver Oak Cab and it was perfect .. I only came because one of my wine distributors said they were buying from them a lot HUGE mistake!! They have zero idea about hospitality and they really did ruined my night, I will never be come back, they had the audacity to charge 18% gratuity on my check LMA@OO NOT a good service but whatever I will dispute that charge with my bank after how upset I’m still are 5 hours after that bizarre dinner! It also says a 10 top lol my friend showed up mid dinner making it a 6 top, I even told him I’d be ordering more food for my new guest LMAO huge disappointment he wanted nothing from this place, embarrassing. BUT like whatever!?? Never coming back again, save your money and spend it at Flemmings steakhouse, Dino’s & Harrys in Hoboken, Chart House, CH Steakhouse in NORTH BERGEN even Del Frisco’s but never here

First time at Carro Cafe but definitely not the last. The atmosphere was amazing, the service outstanding, and the food absolutely delicious. We came to celebrate a 15th birthday, and we truly couldn’t have chosen a better place.
