This was a satisfying and inexpensive stop on our travels. The beans were flavorful, as well as the meats in the tacos. The service was friendly and fast. It is a clean, cafe-style family restaurant typical of small towns.

I am deeply saddened by the poor level of service and outrageously expensive. The flavor is actually pretty good, but you can see how this great place has lost it’s cooking passion as they bring your plate to the table with the attitude of “please don’t bother anymore” Presentation was shocking and sad. This place has great potential, and I can almost guarantee that their struggles are in the cost of goods. If they put outside tables and offered a special menu such as “Mojitos” or a “Pimm’s Cup” served with Mini Flautas, mini tacos, or mini enchiladas during happy hour. This place would be “The Spot” in Brush every day.

Delicious! We went in on a Saturday afternoon, the staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Horchata was one of the best I’ve had in a long time, smothered fries with pork green Chile and Carnita Tacos. The food was so tasty .

We had tacos (plate of 4), gorditas (also 4), and smothered burrito. You can get two different kinds of meat in the tacos and gorditas, so we tried the carne asada, barbacoa, pulled pork, and one other. The burrito was grilled chicken. Everything was so good I can’t believe it was only rated 4.4 when we went. I’m guessing that rating was because the interior could be spruced up a bit and the menu couldn’t be printed on a better material because the food certainly deserves a higher rating! We were worried we wouldn’t find anything good out on the 71, but we took it anyway to avoid traffic. Worked out great! Out yeah, we were full when we left and spent $40, so it’s very reasonable too.

Was honestly disappointed, food sub par the chicken tasted like reheated rotisserie, the green chili smothering the steak burrito tasted almost water bland. The service made it worse took forever for anyone to bring us menus and after we got food we might as well not exist.

Food is a 100 times better than Homeplate. Sauce was hot and very good with more on the plates as well. And our order didn’t take long at all to get. I ordered hevo’s ala mexicana breakfast with two 8″ flower tortillas. Second order was steak, 2 eggs, hash browns, and 2 corn tortillas.
You have to go and try it out. It’s very Good. Worth going to eat there.

Great food! We were there for one of their first nights being open for dinner. I know it won’t be long before they are super busy at night too. I had the gorditas and my dad had fajitas. Everything had excellent flavor. I can’t wait to try everything on their menu. The service was also excellent. Our new favorite restaurant in the area!

Very casual place but food was very good. The taco plate was great with carnitas and barbacoa. It’s not healthy LOL, but tasted great. My companion had the smothered chicken burrito. He likes spicier chili but otherwise was good. Service was fast.
