Food was delicious, everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. Reasonable portions and prices. I’m looking forward to coming back. Hubby and I both practically licked the plates clean. Passing through on way from OH to IN and looked like a decent place to stop for a quick bite to eat. It was clean with friendly staff. Prices a tad on the high side but the food was good, but not super high quality, but it was good enough that I’d stop again.

When we first arrived I thought this place was only going to get one star. We entered and saw their breakfast buffet had not been stirred and was in bad shape. As we sat down, the only other people in the restaurant left. They had the breakfast buffet, and they told us it was bad, so we ordered from the menu. When we got our food, it had been cooked very well and perfectly plated. Note I believe only two people worked in this place. The chef and the waiter. I believe the waiter was new and didn’t know she had to stir the breakfast buffet, and I believe the chef told her later she had to or it would get bad.

My partner and I just moved here two days ago, so this was our first time eating at Carrie’s Restaurant. They say first impressions are everything and it was a great dine-in experience! The hostess, Evelyn, warmly greeted us as we came in and we got to sit in a nice, quiet area of the restaurant; a cute, small town diner. Our server, Gabby, was super helpful with recommendations on the menu and checked back on us frequently to make sure we were all set during our meal. The food was AMAZING! Everything was fresh, especially the fruit sides we got (the strawberries were to die for) If you are ever in the area, I would highly recommend stopping by and enjoying yourself a nice meal and the friendly staff!
