I little shack of a place and a Crossroad in Maine. We had lobster and it was what you’d expect. The ice cream was good too. Service was adequate but nothing beyond that. Everyone was friendly enough.

The food was ok. the Onion rings were a huge letdown and the portions were small for the price. Outside there was a wasps nest near by that was creating issues for out family and other guests eating at the open air pavilion. We told the girl at the register and she said she knew but was unable to do anything. Still the food was Great! I just wish there was more of it for what we paid.

Very nice, large, covered area with picnic tables where you can eat. People were very friendly. The food was good, but the prices seemed high. I ordered a large lobster roll and it did have a lot of lobster, but seemed small for $27. They have Gifford’s ice cream which of course is great.

We had seafood chowder, crab roll no roll, clams. Everything seemed pretty fresh but tasteless…pale greenish tomato and sad plastic lettuce on my no roll crab roll just ruined it.

We ordered 2 fried clam baskets and 2 bottles of water. It cost $92! The clams must have been previously frozen because they had no taste at all. We won’t be going back.

Visiting for the first time from out of town. Great place to get a lobster! Ordered the bug and corn with a craft IPA for about 36 bucks. Not bad as far as I’m concerned. Nice covered area. Highly recommended if needing a quick seafood fix.

Our family of 4 stopped for lunch on our way to Bar Harbor. Service was quick and the food was excellent. Fish and Chips with hand cut fries was excellent.

A captains platter for one is $58.00. I decided to scale down and have the haddock and whole belly clams basket. It came without fries or coleslaw. It was $46. Clams were small and chewy. Fillet was nothing special. I’m a retired fisherman and I live in Maine, so I know what I’m talking about. At most, this is a $32.00 meal. Staff is pleasant enough but not too efficient. Basket came without a fork or napkins. Total tourist rip off if you ask me. Keep driving up route one, east of Ellsworth, just outside of town. Much better place in the left

Absolutely the worst food I have ever had,I can’t believe these guys get a high rating. The rolls are horrendous. In April the lobster rolls were circa $27 for a large, I opted for a shrimp roll (same size I was told by the approx 12 year old that served me) for $10.99. I was about 12 small deep fried prawns on what looked like 1 piece of bread.

Went yesterday for the first and last time. 38 bucks for a half full container of soggy fried clams. Tasted and looked previously frozen. Definitely not a place I will recommend.
