Ordered the cfs and fried Chicken dinner. Came out hot and fast. The food tastes great. Service was great. Sad that they didn’t have many pies left however we were there Saturday at 530pm. Reasonable priced for outstanding food. The restroom was clean and stocked. They have a cute little gift shop. Will definitely be back!!

The food here is fantastic, with generous portions and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that instantly feels like home. But the real standout? The cinnamon rolls. They’re huge, soft, and perfectly glazed—truly unforgettable. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, make sure to save room for one, or grab one to take home. Just one bite and you’ll understand why they’re a must-try and a highlight of the entire visit!

Meh. Disappointing. Long day of travel and the thought of a nice home cooked “Amish” meal was appealing. But wasn’t to be found here. Burger was very dry and over roasted. Salad was had that straight from a bag taste. Tea was nice and waitress was pleasant and attentive. Fun items to shop in the attached merchandise shop.

This is a country style eatery with a small gift shop attached. We came here for the fried chicken and it was everything we hoped for, nice and crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The sides were ok, but nothing to write home about. I got a side salad that was mostly just a pile of croutons with a lettuce garnish. They bring out fresh made bread, with a whipped spread, but I was disappointed to learn it was margarine and not butter. That being said, it was still by far the best meal we had in Kansas up to that point. The service was super friendly and our food came out fast. They also have huge cinnamon rolls, coffee cake and fresh made pies available for dine in or takeout.

Great place to stop for a meal. I’ve been in numerous times now and have never been disappointed. It’s a pretty good size place and always busy but they are quick.

A cozy little restaurant and shop. The atmosphere feels like visiting Grandma’s house for Sunday dinner. They have all the classic “Sunday dinner” options, from Turkey to ham and even steak. I got the Turkey dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans, and the turkey was perfectly cooked, nice and moist with their delicious homemade turkey gravy. My husband got the steak and said it was done to his liking as well. The prices are pretty fair considering the serving sizes. Their desserts are delicious too, I definitely recommend the pie!

The service was great, very friendly and helpful, meal pacing was perfect and refills were flowing just in time.

Right off the entrance is a little shop not unlike cracker barrel, with little bits of home decor, housewares and cute little knick knacks.

Overall I highly recommend Carriage Crossing for the perfect down home vibe, delicious food and good service. If you’re in Hutchinson and looking for the perfect Sunday dinner, this is your spot!

From my experience this place has Good Food, Good Service, and a great atmosphere for all families. I enjoyed every bite of my Chicken Fried Steak. I was completely full and the bread was delicious with the cinnamon butter. I had even bought a whole Peanut Butter Pie to go home, which Thank You! to some of the other Travelers had mentioned to try with my meal. I am from Garden City, Ks.

I had the roast beef. I’ll be honest. It had no flavor and the gravy was just gross. Thick horrible flavor. We took a pie home. Banana cream it was great. Super cute gift shop but I don’t know if I’ll go back after that roast beef. Sides not great.

Stopped on a Tuesday night, just a couple days after the snowstorm. They were not overly busy. There were 4 of us. The service was good, but the waitress could have checked on us more often, especially since they weren’t very busy. The food was very good. Our 8th grade grandson especially liked the cherry crumb pie a la mode. We will be back and I would recommend.

Wonderful atmosphere. A tad loud if you are neuro divergent with sounds. But all in all, a quaint place
