This was such a lovely experience. From Chris, my server, to each course, it was delightful. I was thrilled that they had a non-alcoholic beer for me to enjoy. The crab cakes were chock full of fresh crab on a rich sauce. Then an Italian salad topped off with fresh parmesan. I then had a filet steak and shrimp alfredo combo on mushrooms, spinach, and a heap of light fettuccine. It was incredible. Finished off with the tiramisu that was perfect. Yes, I sound like a real piggy! It was a late birthday I gave myself, and the portions are so generous that I took home so much. Thank you Carrabba’s and Chris! It was worth the drive! Only negative, the espresso machine wasn’t working

It was my first time eating here. Food was pretty good, the zucchini fritte came dripping grease, that was my only issue. You get nice warm bread and dipping oil complementary which is delicious! The Fettuccine Carrabba was delicious and so big I will get to also enjoy it for dinner the sausage lentil soup was one of the daily specials and it also was delicious!

Thank you Trevor for your service tonight. The food was amazing and we always love coming here! I had Spiedino di Mare with shrimp and scallop spedino and a mushroom risotto. My favorite dish there. My girl had Shrimp and Scallop Linguine alla Vodka. We took home 2 Fettuccine Weesie. Amazing!

We visited November 23, 2025. The restaurant was not very busy. Our server was very attentive, and patiently answered all of our questions. We have been trying to find a chicken marsala in KC that my wife likes, and we unfortunately struck out at Carrabba’s also. I agreed that the sauce wasn’t how marsala should taste. She did, however, love the sausage and lentil soup.
I had the Pollo Rosa Maria, fettucine alfredo, and a salad (the house salad is really good).
There’s no accounting for taste as she didn’t like her fettucine alfredo, and I liked mine very much.
Overall, I think the food is very good here, depending on what you like. The chicken marsala, however, needs to be revisited by the chef.

I recently attended the Daou wine dinner. There was a big crowd – over 70 people. Extra servers were on hand so that our food came out promptly and not much waiting. Cassie did a great job explaining the wine and food pairings. Always such a fun experience!

My wife and I came here for our anniversary and we really enjoyed it; everything from the food and service to the atmosphere was really nice.
First, the atmosphere feels like a Tuscan restaurant. There’s a perfect balance of low and soft natural light ambience. They do have a bar with televisions, so if you are looking for a more intimate restaurant without distractions, you may need to sit away from the bar. Also, one observation for bigger people is that their booths are quite snug and the tables are fixed. So, if you’re a big person, you’ll want a table instead of a booth.
The food was served and prepared well. To begin with we had olive oil and bread. Then we had their sausage lentil soup, which was savory and robust, but not too heavy. I ordered the Shrimp and Fillet Fettuccine, which was creamy and savory. My wife ordered the Lobster Ravioli, which was creamy and cheesy, with a light seafood flavor. Her glass of featured Pinot wine was light and sweet. And we ended the meal with the tiramisu, which was actually some of the best we’ve ever had! I always choke when I inhale the chocolate dust that comes on most tiramisu, but this had chocolate shavings instead, and was deliciously layered!
Overall the meal cost about $90 plus tip. I think the price is a little steep considering I didn’t even have a glass of wine. We have been to upscale Italian restaurants downtown that cost less. So, I would’ve given them five stars for their genre of restaurant, but their prices are too high, which knocked them down. However, if that’s not your concern, and you’re looking for a cozy, laid-back Italian restaurant with great tasting food and friendly service, you will definitely enjoy this location!

We had a large group and we were in the back room. Trevor did a WONDERFUL job taking care of us. He was organized, witty, and present without being intrusive. The food was pretty good, the penne could use a more flavorful sauce but overall I just wanted to shout him out and thank him for making my friends birthday a lovely time 🙂

We love this place! Surprise it was only our 2nd time here but will absolutely come back more often. The cocktails were really good. We came during Happy hour but if you sit in the main dining area, you can’t order the HH menu, only in bar area. That was a bummer. Otherwise the food was fantastic and service was exceptional.

Went to one of their wine dinners. Food was good except for maybe green beans were a little chewy. Wine was paired well but a small amount! Will try again.

Cannot say enough about this place. The food was top quality, the waitress was great, the drinks were amazing. You can clearly tell they know what they are doing. The quality of everything they use right down to the dishes and silverware. It was ALL top quality and you can taste it.
