We attended the Antinori Wine Dinner at Carrabba’s and were honestly blown away. I’ve never been to a Carrabba’s and generally avoid chain restaurants, but this was excellent from start to finish: generous portions and great pairings, and a surprisingly reasonably priced. We even left with to-go boxes.
Our server, Destin, was attentive and professional, and Andrew, the sommelier, was fun with just the right amount of education.
The meal began with a Fall Salad with Fig Vinaigrette, with by pistachios and perfectly grilled shrimp, paired with a crisp Antinori Toscana Bianco that balanced the sweetness of the dressing. Next was Penne Franco with Chicken, garlicky and flavorful, with sun-dried tomatoes and olives, served with the Santa Cristina Cabernet Sauvignon.
The star of the night was the Grilled Sirloin topped with a Jumbo Raviolo in browned butter: rich, tender, and served with Stag’s Leap Artemis Cabernet Sauvignon. Dessert was a Caramel Apple Crumble with ice cream and salted caramel, paired with a the Tormaresca Chardonnay.
Exceptional food and generous pours. This was a five-star event. Recommend.

ANDREW IS AMAZING!!! He is the only reason I come to these tastings and 4 course meals. Besides my friends I go with the quality is amazing for the price point. Tell me where you can get 4 cups of wine & appetizers, entree and dinner for these prices. He even gives you a background/history of the wines. Destin is soooo attentive. Anthony is another great help. Kathy in the kitchen is also phenomenal. Highly recommend

We always go to Carrabba’s to celebrate special occasions. Plus, for any other reason that might happen. We always know the food will be excellent and perfectly prepared. We order the same entre. Why change when it is the best? Also the service is always superior ever time. This last visit Wednesday was definitely up to the high standard we have set. Our waitress, Rebecca, was outstanding. She was attentive, friendly and most pleasant with every visit to our table.

If you’re looking to go out for lunch while shopping at the mall, this may not be the best choice. But if you’re looking for a great night out with a special someone or you want to give your family a treat, Carrabba’s is a great family-friendly place to go. There is usually a wait, so you’ll want to get there early if you can. The service was extraordinary. The food was exquisite. And the environment is perfect. The perfect balance of delicate lighting and ambience. I would say that anything that you like, that is on the menu, would be a great recommendation. Some people like pork, some people like seafood, some people just want pasta. Whatever your flavor their menu options are going to tantalize your taste buds. Personally if they have the fresh pork, I would recommend the pork chops. But I have also had their pasta dishes and they are delicate, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. All in all, if you’re going to have to wait to eat, Carrabba’s is worth the wait.

Very disappointing experience. We waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for our food to be served, which is completely unacceptable.
When the food finally arrived, the Chicken Bryant was burnt on the bottom (see attached picture), clearly overcooked and something that should never have been sent out. On top of that, my steak was stone cold when it was served, which made it obvious the food had been sitting for a while.
Between the extremely long wait time and the poor food quality, this was a frustrating experience. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place based on this visit.

We had an amazing experience at the Sanford, FL Carrabba’s location on Christmas Eve. We made a call ahead reservation for a party of 12 and when we arrived they were expecting us and the table was set up in a perfect location for our group. The hostess was so polite and friendly. Andrew, who was bartending, was very kind and engaging when some of us had a pre-dinner cocktail at the bar. Once seated, Beth, our server, did ,an amazing job of taking care of our group that consisted of 1 infant, 3 kids and 8 adults. She was very attentive, patient and friendly. We stayed for three hours and were never rushed or felt pressured to leave. The food and wine were delicious. Everyone in the group was very impressed with all aspects of the evening. Thanks for making our Christmas Eve dinner a first class experience.

Also will mention our service was outstanding. As busy as it was, being Valentines day, service was on point. Thanks for our lovely 17 years Anniversary.
