Day before Mothers Days, you know it’s good to be busy. They were short-staffed at first, but the hostess explained this upfront and was very helpful as much as she could be. She got our drinks and bread to dip in oil and herbs. So good!

This location has been a go-to for many work-related holiday events and family celebrations for many years as the staff goes above and beyond to make it a pleasant experience. No surprise that my most recent experience was one for the books! Accommodating a party of 35 is no easy feat. As we gathered to celebrate our family matriarch’s 88th birthday, we were able to walk in to beautiful space, ready for light decorations and a smooth transition right into our celebration. Special thanks to Lester, manager on duty, and all of the staff for making it a pleasurable night.

Was seated right away and got our drinks very quickly. Maybe twenty other customers in the restaurant. Placed our order, chicken trio. Two other people was seated about 15 minutes after we got there. Forty five minutes later we still haven’t received or order. The two other people eating their dinner and got a to go order. Spoke with the manager and explained what’s happening and I offered to pay for our drinks so we could leave . Manager offered and said he would take care of our whole bill, a sweet tea and a mixed drink, gee thanks. The manager did offer to take care of us when we come back, but I’ve given up on this place. This restaurant used to be topnotch but not anymore.

Consistently delicious food every time. I usually get the Pasta Weesie, but tonight I tried the Spaghetti Primavera. Light wine butter sauce over perfectly al dente noodles. My husband got the prosciutto-wrapped pork loin with asparagus. The pork had great flavor and was very tender. The asparagus hadn’t been snapped to get rid of the woody bottoms, so those parts were hard to chew. You can’t go wrong coming here for a date night or special outing.

The food was pretty good but our server was amazing. Janae was friendly, bubbly, attentive and just a ball of energy. She light up the entire dining area with her energy. Her methods may be unorthodox but when I come back, she the only I’d want on my table unless she’s a manager by the that point. Few places really understand the impact excellent PERSONAL guest service and she did that.

We do not live in Macon but eat here several times a year for at least 10 years because of travel . The food is always great, chicken soup as good as mamas ! The restaurant and restrooms are clean. But without a doubt they have always had some of the nicest employees. I have meant to review Carrabba’s many times just because they are so nice! My husband is handicapped in a wheelchair or walker and they rush to help him every time. Lots of little nice things that go a long way . Occasionally we have a family member with us who is blind and Carrabba’s has Braille menus! Love love this place !
