On A Positive Note: Great value for the money.
I dined here for the first time today, I ordered two scrambled eggs and three pancakes. The pancakes were large and fluffy. I only ate one.
The Verdict: This is my new favorite diner. The food was tasty and the portion was large and reasonably priced.

I had to return to try the French toast. It was crowded today, so I placed an order, to go. The service was swift and friendly.
FYI- cash only and it closes at 12:00 p.m.
11-23-24 I’m back for about the 5th time now. I ordered lemon blueberry French toast. It tastes like dessert. My friend is happy with his large banana pancake.

Good service with very attentive waitresses. Food is delicious and cooked perfectly. They do have size options for the pancakes so if you are not into giant pancakes you can downsize. Atmosphere is comfortable but not overwhelming. The price is a nice plus to coming here, even though they only accept cash, but that keeps their prices down.

Carousel Coffee Shop in Southington is a great hidden spot! Service is just about the friendliest you will find anywhere. Breakfast is served quickly. Coffee is very hot which is fantastic. Pancakes are fill the entire plate big and taste great. Home fries are a little more like real cooked potatoes rather than fried and crispy but they definitely taste good. Eggs cooked correctly. Bacon was a bit undercooked but good sized pieces. Service alone makes The Carousel Coffee Shop worth a visit.

I was in the mood for an authentic breakfast sandwich and tried Carousel Coffee Shop and it delivered!! The sandwich was delicious!! Toasted hard roll, choice of cheese (I chose swiss), 2 eggs (over medium) and 4 sausage links!! The service was outstanding!! More than one server took care of me, friendly, quick, offered to warm up my tea, brought check without asking. Goo old fashioned customer service with a smile!! Highly recommend!!

First time at Carousel and we had their breakfast sandwiches and home fries. I was so impressed I had to write this review! The food was so good! Best home fries ever!
