I Stopped in for some lunch today and decided to give their Friday special a shot and let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint. Verenike. Looking over the menu was hard to come to a decision. I’ll be back to try other foods again. I highly recommend this establishment. Make the trip to this quaint little town with someone you love. A great experience and a little road trip go hand in hand.

Service was a tad slow but they were very busy. Small chicken fried steak with mash potatoes and green beans was very good.
Chicken fried steak sandwich and French fries was also quite good. Cole slaw was unusual, I think they used apple cider vinegar in it. Peanut butter pie is spectacular. Strawberry pie was very good.

We had some wonderful Authentic German Verinica with gravy which was delicious and some of their famous pie. Be sure to grab some homemade bread and cookies at checkout before you leave .
