People.. you’re paying for quality of food, service, location and ambiance. It’s worth it. If you dont want to pay, go to waffle house. This spot is nice and a cute place to come on a brunch date or with girlfriends. BANANA BREAD, CHICKEN AND WAFFLES AND CHICKEN SANDWHICH were all amazing. Portions were great as well. We took home half of everything! Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. First off the place is so adorable. Pink walls and pink booths. The decor is so well thought out. The staff is so amazing. The mimosas are the best I’ve ever had. The avocado toast is to die for. Chicken and waffles is amazing and the French toast, Omg!!! It melts in your mouth. The whipped cream is homemade.

Very cute clean and pleasant place with great energy. The food was very delicious with lots of care to details in its production. I would assume to attention was given to the quality of the ingredients chosen for each food selection. The chicken and waffles is quite delectable and high recommended. It sits well in its amplitude of sweetness mixed with twist of flavors from the fried chicken to the cinnamon to the spices used to top the eggs with. Just do it and let me know what you think.

First time in the historical Flowery Branch. Downtown is beautiful, buildings are still in their original setting, boutiques, antique shops, and different restaurants choices.
One of the merchants recommended all of the restaurants. Said they were all very good. I chose Caroline’s on Main.
I should have left the moment I walked in. However, I wanted to see if it would get any better. The Hostess was not welcoming, asked how many, no smile, no personality. I said one. Hostess turned and pointed to the bar and said there are seats at the bar or it will be an hour wait. I chose the bar. Hostess handed me the menu and then pointed to the bar. Mind you, I’ve been shopping so I had a bag and my purse. I had to switch hands to take the menus and I seated myself. Red flag.
As I was sitting down, I noticed 4 or 5 people behind the bar. Not one of them acknowledged me. I sat down, started looking at my menu. Not a hello, welcome, ill or one of us will be right with you. This went on for several minutes. Let me stress there are people cleaning glasses, making drinks, standing around.
Finally a young gentleman acknowledged me, he asked if there was anything else I would like to drink besides water? No hi, welcome, I’m so in so, I’ll be your waiter, do you even want water? I said water is fine. Off he went, came back with water, and off he went again. Finally I was able to order. He gave me few of his favorite and I ordered the hamburger with gluten free bun. Food came out in a timely manner. Portion was good. Plate was presentable, nice size hamburger, French fries were in a frier basket on the plate, love this idea. Pickled onions, amazing, they had a horseradish flavored spread or dip with the meal. It was delicious. The meal was everything I could have asked for. 5 stars for the food.
I saw my waiter 2 more times. There were long periods between each time. I also noticed the wait for being seated was not an hour. 20 minutes tops. There were no long lines when I walked in. I didn’t see anyone waiting.
I will go back and give this place a second chance. I will recommend the restaurant to others. It was a disappointment to see so many staff walking around not giving the best customer service to their guest. No smiles, no one backing each other up, no one speaking to the customer’s on a regular basis. Hopefully things will improve. Like I said the food was delicious, I just didn’t like paying for this type of customer service. I know you can do better!

Caroline’s in downtown Flowery Branch is a gem that deserves all the love. I’ve been a few times now, and every single visit has been consistent, fresh, flavorful, and just impressive from start to finish.
The location is right in the heart of downtown Flowery Branch, which has been growing fast and becoming a really cute, walkable area. Parking has never been a problem for me—though I typically visit during non-peak hours—but I can imagine it gets busier during prime brunch time. Still, it’s worth the effort.
The inside of Caroline’s is honestly adorable. It has a charm and comfort that feels inviting right away. Great lighting, tasteful art, and very comfortable chairs (I appreciate that as a bigger guy). It feels thoughtful—like someone took their time designing a space that people would actually want to spend time in. Whether you’re there with a significant other, family, or friends, it’s just a great environment to enjoy a slow, delicious morning.
Let’s talk food. The menu is tight, and that’s a great thing. It’s clear they focus on a handful of items and knock them out of the park. Everything I’ve tried so far has been excellent.
My wife can’t get enough of their TK Sandwich: grilled sourdough, lettuce, tomato, Dunes mayo, white cheddar, bacon, egg, and she always adds avocado. It’s balanced, fresh, and that grilled sourdough is crispy perfection.
My first visit, I had their fried chicken & bourbon waffle with bacon jam, brown butter farm egg, maple syrup, and hot sauce foam (don’t worry, it’s flavorful—not spicy). I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the best chicken and waffles I’ve had. The waffle is soft with just the right hint of sweetness, the chicken is tender and perfectly fried with a thin, crispy crust, and the bacon jam + syrup combo is just magic.
Then came the sweet section. They serve a butter-fried banana bread topped with whipped cream, maple syrup, and fleur de sel. I’m a banana bread fan to begin with, but this is next level. It’s the first time I’ve ever had it fried like this, and it was so good I had to stop myself from eating the whole thing before my meal. A must-try.
On another visit, I tried their fried chicken sandwich—and let me tell you, it’s the best chicken breakfast sandwich I’ve had in the area. Pimento cheese, bacon, Alabama white BBQ, and green tomato chow chow on a grilled brioche bun. It all came together perfectly.
Now, the sides. The crispy potatoes are absolutely incredible. Golden, flavorful, soft inside with a perfect crisp outside—not too crunchy, just right. I forgot to order them the second time and got fries instead, and I was a little bummed… until I tasted the fries. Turns out, Caroline’s also makes some of the best fries around. Flavorful, crispy, not greasy—just delicious.
Caroline’s has quickly become one of my favorite breakfast spots. Everything is7 made with care, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the food is consistently amazing. Delicious place for breakfast, and specially for girls out time. Gourmet delicious food. Small menu but all plates look gorgeous. Coffee is good. Staff is nice. Easily free Parking around Downton. They have tables outside on the front, where I saw dogs are welcome. It’s a great gastronomic experience. Definitely would be back.
