Our server was very friendly, offered helpful feedback on our selections, and gave great recommendations. We started with drinks—an OJ mimosa and coffee/matcha. It took a little while to receive our drinks, and our coffee and matcha arrived after our appetizer was served.
For our appetizer, we ordered the Burrata plate. It was paired beautifully, and everything on the platter complemented the delicious, creamy burrata perfectly.
There was a short wait before placing our main orders, but once we did, the food came out pretty quickly. We ordered the Huevos Rancheros and the Sweet Corn Cake Benedict. Both dishes were flavorful and well-balanced.
Overall, it was a great brunch experience. I would definitely recommend this spot and look forward to coming back again.
Downstairs features a well-organized restaurant with a formal yet comfortable vibe ️, while upstairs offers a fun, energetic party-style ambiance —great for different moods in one location.
The food truly tasted like a 5-star experience, both in flavor and presentation. Every dish arrived beautifully plated and full of bold, well-balanced flavors . Highlights included the spicy deviled eggs ️, roasted street corn, and the oven-baked chicken wings, which were perfectly cooked. The crab and artichoke dip was rich and comforting.
For mains, the chicken schnitzel was crispy and flavorful, the wild mushroom bolognese was earthy and satisfying , and the green chili chicken enchiladas had just the right amount of heat. The standout was the lobster bucatini , which was creamy, indulgent, and absolutely delicious.
Tried Goey butter cake(taste is good but little over baked- got stuck around the cup) and Tres leches ice cream(decent but not exceptional)
Service was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the visit .
Pros:
✔️ Exceptional food quality
✔️ Beautiful presentation
✔️ Great service
✔️ Fun upstairs vibe with a refined downstairs dining area
Cons:
➖ Bit pricy, Limited space, so reservations are recommended
Highly recommend Caroline for a memorable dining experience in Austin!
I had avocado toast with an egg and it was good.
The biscuits and gravy came out luke warm and was not very good.
The chicken enchiladas was dry and I wouldn’t order again.
Okay atmosphere. At the bottom of a hotel so not the local feel I enjoy.
Our server, Memory, was phenomenal. She was so warm, friendly, and genuinely kind, and she made us feel cared for from start to finish. Her energy and attentiveness added so much joy to our Christmas morning and honestly elevated the entire experience.
We were also incredibly impressed with the manager and the whole staff who chose to sacrifice their Christmas morning so people like us could have a place to gather, relax, and feel festive. That generosity did not go unnoticed.
Everything—from the atmosphere to the food to the impeccable service—was amazing, but Memory’s outstanding service is what truly stood out and made this experience so memorable. We’re so grateful and will absolutely be back.
