Oh my gosh…such an amazing experience I had today! I am visiting from out of state and I came here with a dear friend who was treating me to lunch. I enjoyed every part of my visit. The chips and salsa were very good, the Birria egg rolls were absolutely *delicious* and the food I ordered (My Mama’s Tacos) were sooo yummy! I must absolutely return here on my next visit! The servers were all very kind and made us feel so welcome. We stayed long after we paid our check just talking and we were never made to feel like it was a problem or we were in the way. The bathroom was very clean and was well supplied with everything from a changing table and diapers to products for those having “that time of the month”. There was even a little potty seat to go on the adult toilet for young potty learners with a small bum. Truly a family friendly gem serving amazing food! Definitely recommend!

I love every single aspect of this amazing restaurant. To see them blossom into their current state from a pop up warms my heart. If you want a fresh, homemade, and authentic experience this is where you go. I cannot express how happy Carolina’s made me. Carolina and Bobby are amazing and so is their team. I wish them nothing but continued success and I look forward to visiting again and again. Carolina’s makes me want to move to this side of town so I can go more often. Do yourself a favor, run don’t walk, and go as often as you can and tell a friend, a family member, or anyone who will listen. After saying all this I still don’t feel I’ve scratched the surface. I ordered the horchata latte which was easily one of the best I’ve ever had in my life. The queso fundido could easily do a 3-4ft cheese pull and was exploding with flavor. The taco trio encompassed so many amazing recipes into one offering. Oh and the chorizo y potato rolled tacos, perfect. My descriptions cannot hold a candle to experiencing it for oneself. It genuinely feels like you’re visiting family and eating in their kitchen. Thank you. See you next time.

We finally made it to Carolinas after hearing so much about it. We eat A LOT of Mexican Food and everything was amazing! We had the Chips & Salsa and asked for a spicier salsa which was delicious as well as the standard one they give you. The Taco Trio was so flavorful and I love the hard shells. My husband, who normally doesn’t like beans at all, really enjoy the beans! The Horchata was incredibly creamy and one of the best we’ve ever had!!

I was seeing this place on Instagram for a few months now and really wanted to try it. When I arrived, it was a really small place with maybe 10 tables, maybe less. I checked out the menu and I ended up ordering guac, chips, and salsa for an appetizer, and the small carne en su jugo, and two birria tacos for the main. Everything looked pretty good however the flavors fella a little flat. Let’s start with the guac, chips, and salsa. So the chips and the guac were really good, but the salsa was quite bland. Next the carne en su hugo. It was decent, the meats were flavorful and the ingredients were tasty. But I found that the broth seemed very salty to me. Lastly the birria tacos. Although they were tasty, I think that $6.95 per taco seems a little high. And typically the birria tacos that I get and love elsewhere are much cheesier, have a sturdier shell, and they are a buck or two cheaper. Overall 3 with lots of potential. The waitress that helped me was Serena and she was super helpful and made good recommendations.

We tried Carolina’s Kitchen today for the first time. First impressions is that it was very small. However, it is very nice atmosphere but most importantly their food was delicious and authentic! We had the birria plate and the green chilaquiles. Soooo good. The rice and beans were legit Mexican style, just like I had growing up. Overall very pleasantly surprised by the delicious food we tried the Mazapán and Atole lattes and were very good too.

I had an AMAZING experience here! when I first stepped in a was letting my mood get the best of me. I was not seeing the variety of options I was hoping for. This place has a great choice of tacos on the menu but I’m not a big taco eater when I dine in. Overall I just had a lot on my mind and no lie just sent my sis a text about my school loans. Any way fast forward after actually enjoying some of the best chips and guac, Birria egg rolls, and their Diablo shrimp, I was all smiles when Ricky, our waiter, informed us that a guy dining at another table paid for our food!!! Now I don’t know who this angel was but the gesture was right on time. It wasn’t enough to pay off my school loans but I’m beyond filled with joy. I’m a hard working single mom and I do what I do because I like caring for people and doing what I do in my field. I’m used to taking my little one to affordable lunch buffets on Wednesdays as a special thing we do together but today we wanted to try something different and I’m truly glad a did. Ricky and ALL of the wait staff are so kind and attentive, and the food is served HOT, FRESH, AND DELICIOUS! I genuinely recommend and want to thank the guy that made this experience one I’ll never forget. I am TRULY grateful, from my happy heart and my little ones very happy belly THANK YOU!!!

You know this is a happening spot when the music is popping, the smiles are big, and the smells are alluring.
This is a cozy and fun location to have a great lunch with coworkers or dinner with family.
The staff was on point, always ensuring that I’m having a good time and enjoying my food with good attention to details.
The menu has a great spread and variety but it’s simple not to confuse with too many options. The quality of the food is excellent with that rustic home cooking that Mom would make. I had mom’s tacos and the pineapple upside down cake, definitely worth ruining my diet over
Love to see the owners of this restaurant being involved and ensuring that every guest has been satisfied!
This is definitely a spot you should check out, bring your friends and family for some amazing flavors and a great time!
Keep up the amazing job and we will see you soon!

It’s small Mexican restaurant which I didn’t expect when we walked in. Our waiter and the staff were awesome. Although I appreciate them not using seed oil in their food which is healthier for our health, we did not like that fact everything we ate had a coconut after taste. Plus, the food was very greasy. The one entree that was actually good was the enchiladas and the salsas. We also had the ceviche which really disappointed us as I was craving some seafood. I can taste the sugar in it as it tasted ketchup-like. I never had ceviche with a sweet taste in it but I’m guessing it might be how it’s done in certain Mexican traditions. If you like coconut oil flavor and appreciate really good customer service, I recommend Carolina’s Mexican Kitchen. It just wasn’t our cup of coconut (tea).

Just finished dining here tonight. I took my son for his 12th birthday. We were told the wait would be about an hour, but our table was ready in half the time, which was a great surprise.
The food was very good. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. I truly appreciate a place that does not use seed oils, and I’m always willing to pay more for quality ingredients. I did not notice any coconut aftertaste like someone else mentioned.
If you’re someone who is conscious about what you put in your body and how it makes you feel, you’ll understand what I mean when I say this: I fully expected to feel heavy, stuffed, and uncomfortable after eating crispy fried tacos, birria, rice, and beans. Instead, I felt surprisingly light. You can genuinely taste the quality of the ingredients.
The owners came around to check on tables and were very pleasant. It added a personal touch to the experience.
We will definitely be back to try the birria eggrolls.

This restaurant was amazing. I cannot express enough how awesome my experience was here. To preface, I have followed this restaurant on social media for a few years now. I wish I would have gone sooner but I am no longer a local. The food is phenomenal. I have never in my life tasted such flavorful Carne Asada in my life. The Birria egg rolls were a flavor combination I would have never imagined. The quality of food and service with the atmosphere ties well together. It is a small restaurant but feels extremely close to home. I love the art adorning the walls. It was a nice touch to have the two bathrooms distinguished with the Rooster and Hen. I’m definitely going to come back and try more menu items. Everyone and their dog will hear about this restaurant from me.
