It’s a laid-back atmosphere. The staff was friendly and moved quickly. The cooks were fast, too. The food came out great. The prices are on point. Great for breakfast or lunch date. Not far from High Point University and others points of interest. I enjoyed my breakfast here.

My granddaughter and I visited on a Sunday after church. It was packed and it was only about 10:45 when we visited. However, there is plenty of parking. If the main parking lot is full, you can park in the adjoining parking lot in front of the department store.

Established in 2000, this place a very popular spot for breakfast. I was introduced to this place by one of the regulars. The waitresses say if they don’t see the regulars, something is terribly wrong. And that itself says a lot about the service and the food at this place. A very warm and friendly atmosphere and amazing food selection. Breakfast served all day and way in to the evening.

This my first time eating here and it was pretty good! When we walked in we were greeted by friendly waitstaff who seated us promptly. The diner itself was nice inside, and the oldies music and pictures were like stepping back through time. We decided to grab the hot chips as an appetizer, which were delicious and very fresh. As a main course, I decided on the potato soup, chicken strips with two sides and Texas toast. My friend got the baked spaghetti and garlic bread, which she said was really good. My food was decent but none of it wowed me. The chicken was over fried and a little dry for my taste. The potatoes were real, but that cheap brown gravy gave them a strange flavor! The mac and cheese was so-so and tasted like something out of the freezer section. Next time I am up this way I will try something different! The service was excellent though, and the tables were full inside!

“Don’t Go Bacon my heart” “I couldn’t if I fried” with staff wearing T-shirts like that, I had some expectations. Carolina’s Diner is an excellent place for breakfast! Everything from our order; from the Banana Pecan Pancakes, to the Corned Beef Hash was great. The service is efficient and friendly, and the coffee refills are plenty. While in #HighPoint #NorthCarolina, Carolina’s is a sure bet!
