Always a great little place for wings, philly steak or chicken sandwiches and wing chips cooked to your desired crispiness, here! Nice servers and bartenders, that check on you fairly often. There’s always a sports event to be seen on one of many screens! It’s been a favorite of ours for many years (including before the name/owner changed) My husband and I first agreed to meet here for our first date over 15 years ago, and have been returning together ever since!

We almost didn’t come in because the parking lot out front was packed. Plenty of parking behind the building. That would have been tragic because this place is AMAZING. We were told 20 minutes wait and we didn’t wait 5 minutes to get seated. Within seconds our server came and our server Carson had us setup with drinks and in less than 10 minutes we had appetizers and our food. The fried mushrooms are fantastic and one order is enough for 4 people. They are large and plenty. The same goes for the Southwestern Eggrolls. We ordered 24 wings. 2 flavors, honey bbq and terihot. They are huge meaty wings and no way you can eat more than 6 with all the the other things we ordered and they are Amazing also. Plus floppy wing chips were very good too. A little too floppy so we will ask for them to be cooked just a tad more next time. Come on in Blythewood and support this local business. They take care of their customers. The atmosphere is great. Tvs, bar, music and nice table space.

The staff was friendly. Unfortunately, one of the orders of wings was supposed to be breaded fried chicken and we got hard, dry, unseasoned, not breaded wings. Even the other 2 orders of wings (honey mustard and teriyaki) were unappetizing. All fried too hard and lacking flavor and sauce. Our sides were mediocre. Very disappointing and doubtful I’ll ever eat here again.

If your getting off this exit and your traveling through town (my experience)… this place is right off the exit and close to gas stations …
Personally I’ve only been here once… got here an hour before close, we came to a full house almost on a Wednesday evening… we’re seated promptly, greeted and immediately things started working… our waitress name was Alyssa (spelling not sure) she was super nice, very helpful, respectful questions before recommending flavors and did a fantastic job with those recommendations… she came back multiple times despite being busy and closing happening in less than an hour… our food was prompt, hot, and actually really good… this is not a white table cloth restaurant and it’s not a gas station restaurant… it’s a great bar, with bar food and it was good… we got the rib sampler as a meal and a steak quesadilla … both were really good… we finished everything…!
Bathrooms were like a gas station bathroom but a little cleaner, staff were friendly, and the food is totally worth coming back for.

The parking lot was packed and the place was crowded however, we were promptly seated and served. There’s a wide variety of items on the menu and the prices are amazing and the portion sizes huge.. I was about to talk about these so called baked beans (pork n beans), but when I bit into that perfectly toasted brisket sammich….everythang was allllright. Also the wings are fried just right. We will definitely be back to try more items

A New Yorker who visits family here often this was my first time trying Carolina Wings.
We did an in-person order for a take-out order for five. The staff was friendly and welcoming, however not really well versed on all that the menu offered. Nonetheless, we persevered with orders of multiple wing plates with fries, tenders with fries and a catfish and wing plate. I also order some fried pickles.
The fries were good and the tenders cooked to perfection, both crispy and juicy/tender. The wings were also cooked to my liking, however some of the sauces were a miss. The bbq was enjoyed but honey mustard was a pass. The lemon pepper (dry rub) had no lemon or pepper but was all salt along with the very salty fried pickles. The fried catfish was enjoyable. I was surprise to find that all the dipping sauces were pre-packaged and sadly the ranch was not desirable.
Overall not a bad spot to grab some wings and your experience can be improved with the right sauce (wet/dry) for your wings.
Just A Note:
-They do not except Apple Pay.
-They have some weekly specials posted that can be an extra incentive to give them a try.

Stopped at the exit to get fuel on our way to Savannah and decided to give this restaurant a try. We both ordered the wing plate, mild and extra crispy. The wings were cooked perfectly and they were really meaty. The mild sauce had great flavor with just a bit of a kick. The staff was great, they moved us to a different table when we were too cold from sitting right under the A/C vent. The wing chips were great as a side. We will definitely come here again on our way back to Charlotte!

The flavored chicken wings are large and cooked well! I ordered chicken tenders which was greasy tasting. I order a cheese quesadilla and a portion of it was burned! I’ll stick with the chicken.
