This is a fun place. We went on a Monday evening and they had a jazz trio playing which added lots of fun to the atmosphere. The place was crowded but the service was friendly and efficient.

We ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken with cheesy grits, hush puppies and biscuits. The boneless chicken breasts were huge. The flavor was full and the meat was tender. Everything on our plate was delicious.

We hope to be back soon.

Came for the Jazz, ended up enjoying the food, drink and service. It’s been years since I’ve ate oysters AND though I like jazz, I can’t say I’ve ever experienced a live Jazz band in person…bucket list getting shorter now

Being that I’m not an expert oyster aficionado, I had to ask what are all the accessory ingredients were and how do I eat this. Rain(sic – spelling) very patiently explained the process.

I enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend it if you like jazz, oysters and just simply good food.

Besides the oysters I ordered the poutine.

Food was great. Lots of flavor. Oysters were fresh. Drinks were tasty. Atmosphere was cute with different seating options.

I ordered the shrimp + scallop Alfredo, the seafood was fresh + pasta had lots of veggies + full of flavor with medium spice.

Husband had the chicken + waffles, he said he would have preferred the syrup to be on the side. Chicken was fresh + crispy!

We also had fresh oysters + grilled.

Our server, Donivan was amazing, very knowledgeable of the menu + specials, will definitely be back!!

Awesome burger! Great place.

– Lowcountry Bacon Burger – $19: DELICIOUS! You pay for it, but it is definitely worth it. The half pound patty was juicy and seasoned perfectly. I want to say it had a bit of steak seasoning on it (I asked, but was not definitely answered). The bacon was THICK and delicious. The lettuce, tomato, and onions were fresh and delicious. The mayo was great quality (the Heinz ketchup was good). The bun was good. Even though it was expensive, I’d still go back for it.

– Fries (comes with the burger): Battered and seasoned perfectly. The portion was a little shy of average. They were plenty hot throughout.

– Hush Puppies (complimentary): The hush puppies were great.

I’d love to come back and try their Poutine!

– Service: Super cheerful and helpful. We were seated quickly. We didn’t have to wait long for our food after ordering it. I tipped a little more than normal because I thought it was outstanding!

– Atmosphere: They pay attention to detail. It is upscale, clean, organized, and professional. You can still show up in casual clothing, though. It was well lit with outdoor light. There was a lot of wood trim and brick. There were booths, tables with chairs, and there was a bar. They had TVs with sports, but it was not loud.

– Conclusion: I’d highly recommend their burger. The staff and restaurant are top notch.

Visited at 2pm on a Saturday.

This place is amazing as a chef with years of experience it’s hard to find a place that exceeds expectations. This place is addicting at best so flavorful and delicious. Had the shrimp, scallop, crab pasta it was so flavorful and spicy. The hush puppies had a delicious Dijon sauce. Our server was amazing! Definitely going to be a go to for a delicious sit down meal!

Disappointed is an understatement. I chose this place based off the reviews. I really wanted a crab cake and the menu seemed to have some pretty good options so that’s what really drew us in. Now I was in Grand Rapids literally for the day and this was the only restaurant I ate at while visiting.

The aesthetics were cool. There are no complaints as far as the service we received. The hostess and our server Raene(spellcheck) were extremely nice and professional. The food however was terrible. I did not enjoy anything I ordered honestly. Everything seemed so tasteless to me. Now this is just my opinion, I didn’t complain about the taste. I just paid my bill.

My reasoning in rating two star was simply for the service we received. The food was awful so it’s hard to rate the restaurant anything higher. If you like sweet collards and food with little-to-no seasoning than this is your spot. Otherwise I’d suggest staying away from this one. It wasn’t worth my time or dime.

Came here to try the she crab soup. Loved the she crab soup. Would recommend… The she crab soup.

Also nice atmosphere, service and tasty fries. Lovely patio. My picky 7 year old did not like the Mac and cheese, but she is a Kraft snob so I wasn’t surprised.

What an amazing restaurant! It is a smidge pricey -but happy hour is an amazing option! We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a few snacks and drinks. Donovan was very helpful and kind -such an amazing waiter! The she crab soup was amazing -as were the catfish bites and wings. The pimento slider was meh -but in all fairness, I did leave off the bun so perhaps that made it work. I loved the complimentary hush puppies! Such southern hospitality! We will definitely be back!

I popped in for a Friday happy hour, half off house wines & a few beers, $2 oysters (4 to choose from, shucked in front of us at the bar) and $5 list of starters. Bartenders were awesome, great light in the place through the ample street side windows. Great food, at least the snacks (cowboy caviar and fried green tomatoes) & oysters we had. Frankly I had fairly low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised and I’d definitely go back!
