Food was awesome! Next time though I’m making mine a double because I need more meat. I had the Riverside and wife had the OBX and then we shared a bacon cheese fry. Definitely will back to try the rest of the menu whenever we can make it back out that way.

We got our burger and dog to go because it was so packed. It was too cold to sit outside so we just brought it home. Excellent Duval Dog. The Riverside Burger was delicious. The sweet potato fries were a smidge overdone. All in all look forward to going back and recommend.

Visited recently and will be back. Ordered a burger without a bun and it was excellent. Husband ate a burger with the bun. Also ordered a basket of loaded fries and my husband and I weren’t quite able to finish because it was such a generous portion. This restaurant sure knows how to put flavors together and serve excellent food.

Nice corner spot with good burgers, fries and shakes. Loved the wall art and history! Very informative on what part of the cow that makes the best burgers. Our fries wasn’t hot but still great taste. The byo float only gets half cup of icecream, wish it was more. Reasonable prices I suppose for the amount of food you recieve. Family friendly. Need more space though but we will be back.

We got burgers for staff of 5. Everyone voted amazing. This place stands up to the hype in all ways. They had our names on the boxes and zero mistakes. Everyone was talking about it for hours.

Love Carolina Jax. Multiple visits and food is always delicious and as ordered. One of the best hamburger, fries, and milkshake spots in Jax. Just a word of advice on weekends gets very very busy with to go orders, DoorDash, and dine in customers. Be prepared for a wait as all is cooked to order, but never disappoints on flavor, I’ll take that any day and staff does warn you before ordering about wait times. High recommend

Carolina Jax is outstanding! The burgers are incredibly juicy, dripping with flavor and cooked perfectly. Plus, the staff provides genuinely good customer service. A must-try spot for a fantastic, satisfying meal. 100% recomended !

I gave a 5 star because this is a great place, I haven’t been in a while seems the bun has changed alittle. I wasn’t a fan of the bun this time around (maybe a potato bun now and not brioche?) but I got the mountain man burger it didn’t have as much topping as it did in the past but it was still good. Next my nephew got the tar hill and tore that thing up and loved it.. finally we had the ol’ dirt road fries that never disappoint! Overall it was great.. even if I felt like it’s changed some it’s still one of the best burgers in Northeast Florida.

I had asked if their burgers were smash burgers and was told yes by the young lady taking our order. I also ordered sweet potato fries and asked they make them crispy, and I ordered the Turtle Turtle shake. Well…. The burger is definitely not a traditional smash burger but it was good, I could not eat the fries however because I asked for crispy not burnt, and the so called Turtle Turtle shake was watery and just not good at all. I was very excited to try this place but sadly I won’t be back.
