We stopped for breakfast a few months ago. It was great. The food was great and the people were friendly. We were happy to come back. So we stopped by this past Saturday and had a totally different experience. We sat at a 2 top even though we had 4 people with us because all of the tables were dirty. We asked the waitress if we could move to a bigger table once they were clean and she seemed pretty mad about that. We ordered drinks and sat and waited for over 10 minutes. She never came back. There were only two other tables eating. Most of the employees were sitting at the tables talking to each other. Our waitress was standing up front showing another waitress videos on her phone. After about 10 minutes of being completely ignored, we just got up and left. No one said a word to us. It was an odd experience. We won’t be going back. It’s a sad deal because we really wanted to see this business succeed.

The restaurant has a minimal roadside diner feel to it. The food is affordable, and the menu has a lot of familiar options.
The service here was good, however my Mac and cheese came out lukewarm. The pork chop I had was alright, but nothing stands out.
If you’re in the area and in the mood for affordable American fare sure, check it out. Otherwise I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to eat here.
Even if the mac was at a good temperature when it came out (which isn’t a huge deal to me, it was promptly fixed.) I would still be very indifferent to the experience.

My friend and I ate at the Carolina Cafe Thursday of this week. It was terrible. I gave you’ll one star but it was more like a 0. We both got burgers and fries. The burger was cooked hard and the fries were not cooked enough. We ask the waitress for catchup and she forgot it. We had to ask twice. She was not very attentive. I got one glass of tea. She never asked if we wanted more. It was a super bad experience.

Good country cooking. Waitress was friendly and kept our drinks filled. I had chicken and pastry. The first bowl that came to the table had only one piece of chicken in it. I complained and they brought me a second bowl loaded with chicken. The food was tasty and hot.

This place is awesome. I have breakfast here before work daily. The food is always delicious. The staff is friendly as are the patrons in the morning. They have daily lunch specials as well. Thursdays is spaghetti and its as good as you find at a italian restaurant. I highly recommend this place to any and everyone.

Down home American cooking. If you like diner food and diner atmosphere then this is the place for you! The staff is very friendly and the menu has a ton of options. They serve breakfast all day. Regulars keep going back… even I could see that! But if you are looking for something fancy keep on looking.

Used to eat breakfast here all the time. Visited again today for the first time in a bout a year and I ordered a club sandwich which is pretty standard. What I got was a BLT with ONE piece of ham on it. Placed a Togo order for a porkchop SANDWICH and when I opened the box I got a porkchop no bread no toppings nothing. Not impressed and probably won’t be returning.

Great waffles!!! (New Edit – 07/19/19) Really upset with the way this cafe has went downhill in the last month. The order is never ready for pick-up when called in, the quality of the food has dropped and the service forgets items, even when you request for it/comes with order. Unfortunately, I feel that they will not be open for much longer…
